Draw Smart for iPad (Flow Charts & UI Diagrams)

This looks promising but does not provide any basic functionality that I can find How to undo copy the blocks or auto line up     No undo copy or other basic requirements

First thing you will notice is there is no option to zoom in or out or even move around the canvas this is a major pain and a serious feature overlook by the devs Im sure your thinking well how do you even do anything without that well they expect you to actually resize each individual shape object instead of the canvas which is also a pain considering a simple computer object takes up a good chunk of the screen by default so you have to scale every single shape way down to get everything on the screen and that will only fly for something like a small home network Next major overlook is the lack of text the option is there but it simple doesnt work you click it and nothing happens I looked at the help button but the help is about 6 quick steps then your on your own Another major overlook is that lines dont have any point on shapes objects to snap to At the very least they could have made lines snap to the center of shapes but nope instead your left with lines that dont seem to connect to anything and other lines that go into the shape or object and since there isnt any zooming you cant even zoom in to fine tune the line While we are on lines another major oversight would be that after a line is drawn you cant simply click one end and drag to a new shape you actually have to stretch shrink or delete the line and start over These are all what I consider very basic features that should have been on the top of any Visio type software no matter what device its intended to run on These are also all features the iPad is fully capable of which is all the more frustrating I would say hold off until these things are fixed until they are the app is practically useless even for a simple home network you would be better off using the free web app Gliffy on your iPad vs this app on your iPad     Idea is there but missing very important features

Dont buy this to make database diagrams Lacking ability to type text into objects     Eh

Issues 1 All shapes can only be sized in both the x and y axis There are shapes in the uml section that need to be taller not wider 2 how about adding text directly onto the shape so they a linked not just drawn on top of 3 needs printing 4 needs to be able to be zoomed out to fill a 8x10 sheet of paper 5 option for a simple grid I like the app but its not visio replacement Keep working on it        Good try in time good app

Wanted to create a simple system flow chart The app is fixed in landscape mode not ideal for vertical flows Keep looking There are better apps available although they will cost you five bucks        Get what you pay for

I was really surprized to see the feature which are really great Even the simple PC Programs wont deliver as this app does Floors plans are amazing so is the UML diagram components Flow Charts and other components are cool too A great value for money I still cant believe I got this for 1                 Great application and great price

I bought this app because it proported to be good at diagramming flow chart symbols Although it does have a list of symbols to use I found it extremely cumbersome to addedit any of the bubbles and to connect them in any sort of fashion This makes it a glorified template manager at its best Like so many groundbreaking apps this one seems to be off to a good start but still has a ways to go        Not so great

Hey I had been using some desktop Apps to create flowcharts UML diagrams Now this apps is exceeding my expectations Need more features Which I hope you would provide me Features like Network UML Floor Chart are really good Will try out the rest shortly Worth every penny spent                 Very Good Productivity App Will help me greatly in my daily Tasks

I would suggest the developer studying how iMockups is designed and model that application Not being able resize the shapes and elements was the biggest problem Aligning elements is very difficult as well A major update with those key features and the developer could charge more and get better reviews Until then this app isnt worth any kind of money     Needs much improvement

Program worked great for three days and then crashed when you go to save drawings or browse for the previous ones you have done Sent repeated messages to developer asking for fixes to no avail Dont buy this until bugs get fixed        Fix the bugs

Created flow charts Overall impressive for the price Need the following improvements Need the ability to type in text directly in the object instead of separate text box so that objects along with text can be moved Does not save the settings across sessions every time u open a new session settings go back to the default and u have to set again Complains about low memory limit on the number of objects u can create per page              Mr

You know this is very close to being a really nice app A few changes would make this extremely useful If you could add the ability to rotate symbols and maybe a zoom in and out so you can make really large networks Finally some way to import your own symbols would make this app truly unique to the app store It could be used for web mockups map making UI design Still a useful app and a well designed interface              Very useful Lots of potential

Needs an easier way to manage items auto text boxes inside would be great resize objects individually     Complicated to use

Does not draw a floor plan     Difficult

The app is good but it needs the option to save the images as either a document and or to save them into itunes or to the photo library              Saving

I could not get the pinchtosize to work on my iPad That pretty much made it less than useful JS        notsohot

For a buck this is the best I have in terms of diagramming but you cant relate objects to each other You can draw a line to make a connection but that just creates a line object If you restructure you diagram your lines dont move Let us connect objects At least to and from the 8 points at the corners and midpoints of the square around them Also needs zooming or scrolling for scalable charts If this is in the app its certainly not intuitive Chalk up another has potential but not there yet review for this           Missing key feature

This app is alright What I am confused about is how to use the text I click it and then I drag or I clicked it the tapped on the page None of this methods worked so I am still trying to figure out how to use it I also think they should put more pictures in the network area Overall this app is pretty good           Text and pics
