Draw-It, Push-It

Awesome family game It is a little buggy at times but there are some things to do to make sure you dont have any problems 1 Make sure all devices that are not plugged in do not enter standby mode after a minute If the phone sleeps it will be disconnected and you will have to wait for the next round 2 I was playing for a long time before the app quit in its own Turn off the power and do a fresh start Didnt have a problem again Looking forward to more games like this that use technology as the new board game canvas Much more fun than getting a big pad of paper and getting up to draw I also like that the people that are better have to wait a little longer before they can chime in to give others a chance                 LoveIt

This app is so far disappointing Even with the iPhone pushit app you still have to pass the iPad around to players I was hoping for a nonpasstoplay game If you need to draw on the iPad why force you to choose WHAT you are drawing on the push it app It was fun having your own button while guessing but it was awkward juggling the iPad and iPhones around when it was your turn to draw You only get one guess per player unlike most Pictionary type games Could be fun with multiple players if you get more points answering quickly but not with just two players If you make a mistake while entering an answer its difficult to correct quickly You dont earn more points by drawing the harder words The pencil stays to the settings of the last PLAYER rather than YOUR last settings Even if it defaulted to a basic black thin line each time it would be less annoying than never knowing what to expect Overall this could be a very fun app but as it is I regret wasting my money on it and will probably not play it or recommend it until future updates improve the game play But I do hope to see those improvements as I 3 love 3 Pictionary type games        Disappointed

The glitches and bugs in this game make it practically unplayable Connecting to the Apple TV with multiple players always results in connection errors disconnects and game crashes Also the iPad used to draw on doesnt display what youre drawing on the iPad screen it can only can only be seen from the apple TV display making it very difficult to draw accurately Dont waste your money Wish I could get s refund     Glitches and Bugs

I think this app is extremely fun to play and has the potential to be an App Store top 10 A lot of fun with the family and friends I have to say the idea is perfect however as of now it crashes a lot and the phones disconnect a lot Once they update it and fix the constant crashing Im sure itll be so much better 3 stars for nowit needs an update otherwise itll crash and burn on the App Store           A lot of fun but needs a critical update soon

I purchased the app several years ago but never really had the opportunity to use it until now I can echo the comments made by many of the other reviewers connecting is hitormiss and fumbling with both the iPad and a secondary device is annoying In addition turning the iPad causes the orientation on the Apple TV to change but it wont change back unless mirroring is toggled And inapp purchases There arent any listed not that Ill be buying any now        Such a disappointment

Was really excited to try this app over the holidays with my Family but like others have reported the App crashes within seconds of launching on my iPad Air 2     Wont Launch

So much potential an amazing game if you can get it to work But despite the updates its still incredibly fickle with connections Requires a pristine network and even then it will still have dropped connections Ive found the best results come when wifi is off on all devices except the main iPad and all other connections are made via Bluetooth However even then we still had problems Really wish it would work properly because I love showing it off to my friends           Awesome but so buggy

Disappointed Tried to set up the game with my kids two 5th gen iPod Touches iPhone 4S 5 iPad 2 and threw in the towel after almost 45 minutes Only ever got one device to connect at a time Tried AirPlay tried connecting via HDMI got the game on screen but never got to play Great idea poor execution Hope it works soon     Great idea If it worked

It opens and within 2 seconds of opening the app it closes This needs to get fixed I purchased the game to play with family while visiting     Not Working

Sadly the game didnt work with 8 people I had high hopes for the game AirPlay was causing issues so I directly plugged it in Once it was plugged in and on the TV the phones would all connect and some never left the connecting screen So we would have to quit the game to get everyone back in Then two new people couldnt get in After 30 min and restarting all devices we gave up on the game Thankfully it was free for everyone else     Didnt work

Just like everyone else the game crashes all the time and people lose connection constantly We did about three draws fine and then everything went down hill till we all just gave up Played with four people using the following devicesiPhone 4 and 4S 4th gen iPod touch two 3rd gen iPads Everything was on ios 60 except the 4S which actually had less issues than the others Also used current gen Apple TV with up to date software and the current gen AirPort Extreme     Junk

I wish it worked We had fun playing with my kids But when I tried to play with friends and introduce a third phone we never got a game going Total frustration and no tech support I hope they stick with this and put out some updates because the game and games like this would be fun     Same problems as everyone else

Downloaded this game tonight for some family fun Has great potential Great concept Lousy delivery 1 Hard to figure out Read the instructions 2 Once installed difficult to connect all devices 3 Very laggy Admittedly that could be a function of our Wifi but it always seems to work for other apps 4 Got through one round with 2 players Tried to add a third but then none of us could connect So I gave up and decided to write this review I figured it would be more fruitful than another attempt at this game     Stay Away

So there are dozens of Pictionary type apps available on the App Store But by far DrawIt is the best I played this game with 3 other family members each person had their iPhone and we used my iPad AirPlayed on my Apple TV It is without a doubt the most engaging multiplayer game Ive ever played on an iOS device I truly hope other developers follow suit in adapting more games in this style Scrabble has come the closest but it is not fully optimized for the Apple TV like this one is The gameplay is not only engaging it is very smooth as well I never felt like there was a delay between the TV and my iPad Drawing was surprisingly smooth as well I plan on getting a stylus later on so hopefully that will make it even better I never had much trouble getting people to connect as long as we did it at the same time Pros Fun Engaging Great UI Unique Idea that enhances gameplay Good Price Smooth and fluid Many Features and the ability to add more words with expansion packs So far No annoying Push notifications telling me to play Cons Connecting requires everyone connecting at roughly the same time No WiFi connecting option No built in music control All in all 55 stars I would say 910 if Apple gave that option just because I would have preferred the ability to play my own music during it                 Best MultiPlayer Game Available On the App Store

Nice idea though as another reviewer stated passing the iPad around is a pain There are several problems with the execution problems may be in the pushit companion app but Ill report all problems here 1 connecting is unreliable it often crashes when trying to connect it never shows the iPad the first time the connection list comes up so you always have to tap the refresh button Seriously it took 3 separate attempts to get 2 phones connected and working between the crashes and reconnects 2 frequent random disconnects which results in the game fundamentally ending Reconnects dont appear to get you back into the game There may be some problems with popup notifications interrupting the game 3 general crashiness Have you guys done any testing on 51 It seems to be super crashy on older iOS versions 4 the way you type in the word on the pushit app is extremely annoying the tiles are pretty but make for a terrible and frustrating user experience 5 buttons often become unresponsive the back arrow sometimes doesnt work the reconnect button often is dead etc I really hope that these problems get worked out before Christmas It would be great to play with the family but at the moment its more an exercise in frustration           Cool concept poor execution

To pay this much for an app ie this is not a 099 app and then NOT be able play it with my family is extremely disappointing     Please fix the CRASH on startup
