I downloaded your free apps Discovery channel Animal planet and the Science channel and havent been able to watch a single episode the app opens then when you choose a program they all Quit Unexpectedly Please fix What a disappointment I guess no one has Discovered how to fix these apps maybe you have a bunch of monkeys working on it its not rocket Science Cant even get to watch

I am dumbfounded that one of the best networks has the very worst app No access to full episodes via this app online or via my Xfinity TV app which I can use to view anything on network or cable television with the very obvious exception of Discovery Channel shows The only full episodes available here are Street Outlaws and Sons of Winter If you want anything other than these two my favorites are Bering Sea Gold and Goldrush you have to purchase them through iTunes It will be a very hot day in Alaska before I pay an additional charge to have mobile access to shows I already pay for on a monthly basis to Comcast I will be raising Cain with them too to find out why my watch anywhere cable access does not include Discovery If you love Discovery SKIP this app

The features of the app is great I can watch some full episodes of shows like Mythbusters However the quality is terrible It randomly quits on my iPhone sometimes The tab at the top of the phone showing battery percentage and cellular signal does not go away when you play a video The video quality is HD but the audio quality is terrible Its sounds muffled and distant I dont understand how such a well known channel could have an app with such terrible quality Terrible Quality

Charge viewers for full access to the Discovery Channel separate from cable companies We watch HBO Smithsonian FX History and Discovery We have to pay over 250 per month just for these channels because they throw in hundreds of others half of which are shopping networks We ditched cable TV nearly a decade ago and over the years our favorite stations have slowly become available through a combination of Netflix Xbox Live Apple TV We are getting Apple TV and Discovery is the only channel still missing from the line up Discovery its time to separate from cable
