Downloaded this after subscribing specifically so I could access videos while offline Entered my username and password and the app just freezes Then I come here and see it was last updated in 2011 Do not subscribe based on the availability of this app     Wont even login

Whats the pointto tell you that every course is only available on the desktop Ok so youre in the process of converting your library Then dont release the app until you have some content to go with it Jeez not even preview videos to watch to decide if you want to subscribe or not Strange attempt at building a custom base     Why does this exist

I am not getting audio for some of the videos and yeah more content would be awesome I am heading to tech support next about the audio           Great idea but audio issues few videos

Tried it again but it still fails No backpack no playlists no lessons in the courses to choose from Have to manually search things I have saved to watch in playlist and backpack The courses only start from lesson 1 and you have to fast forward to the end of the movie to go to the next lesson and repeat to resume or go to a specific lesson From the so called best professionals in the industry this is a joke     Seems it had a slight update since a half year ago

Worthless Does not work at all Im a member and can use my laptop but no videos work on my iPad     Does Not Work

No sound with new iPad I am true fan of the site but this app is horrible No focus on its development There are hardly any videos and the few out there the sound is not available Great site crappy app     Disappointed

Ive written good things about digital tutors and this app Its a good app streaming training works well you need a membership of course but they are being ridiculously slow converting content to be viewable on iOS devices Leaving you with a huge library of stuff you cant view Not a single Houdini video has been converted for instance If DT was serious about this app they should be serious about backconverting their courses surely they could do a few a day at least As it stands if you have an existing membership you might find some stuff to make this app worth downloading but if you are considering a membership be sure to look for an icon that indicates you can actually watch the content that interests you because the majority of their library isnt viewable on iOs devices like iPhones and iPads And dont expect to see it come up any time soon this app has been out a long time and Im not seeing significant changes to prior content although more of the new content is at least starting to come out converted           Good app not enough videos converted

I am amid the Cinema 4D courses and this app is perfect for having the tutorials open on my iPad and working in C4D at the same time No idea if its perfectly up to date but at this time there are over 1500 C4D videos uploaded for streaming via the app Great job guys I love it                 Love it

None of The illustrator courses have an offline option I Will cancela and go for Udemy     No offline acess for almost everything

Works great Fantastic video quality One thing that took me a while to figure out and that I am still puzzled about Why am I required to wear headphones to hear the audio                 Fantastic app

This is as useless as the iPhone app at least I didnt waste money on it If you want to watch one of the ten movies that is converted it is a good app but there are very few courses converted They must be converting 1 lesson a month well that is what the iPhone app is like Plus no quick way to just show available movies nor is there anything telling you what training has been converted     No courses

I have a Plural Sight account and I cant login to DT like can on the website In addition the app freezes when I attempt the login     No login for Plural Sight customers app freezes

I only wish it allowed for notes           Beats VTC But

I have been waiting for this app for a long time one of the most have apps if u have a digital tutors subscription                 Finally

The digital tutors crew shouldve waited until they had more than 3 videos converted to play through the app before they released the app As this sits right now this app is primarily useless and everything is viewable on desktop only I realize you stated that we should be patient as you convert your libraries but you couldve at least gave us a heavy chunk of them before launching this app Thank you for what your doing but this app cannot be taken advantage of just yet Ill check back on it in a year when you have everything ready        Ill be back

I paid for a subscription for this garbage app Add more movies It doesnt take that long to convert files it makes me want to cancel my membership instead of paying for crap service like this     Add more videos

Not bad if you only want to bookmark videos to watch later on a desktop Other wise this app is crap Sound doesnt work 90 of the time Yes I have an account premium yearly It would be great if I could watch videos on the iPad while following along on my cintiq but sadly you cant     Not many video for moble

This truly is an amazing app Its free its beautifully designed and its loaded with valuable training for anyone working in or hoping to work in the CG industry I have been watching DigitalTutors content for over a year and a half now and have already learned so much The subscription itself is easily worth the cost The quality of the training is top notch and everything is explained in an easy to understand and thorough fashion To think that eventually their entire library will be available through this app is wonderful One great feature is that if a course isnt currently available there is a button so you can request it You will need an account with DigitalTutors so if you dont have one create a free account and get going watching some of their free content Im positive you will love it Cant wait for more ZBrush content to be converted Thank you DigitalTutors for this great app                 DigitalTutors HD

Im so glad they finally have an iPad app for my DT subscription Ive learned more from them than I ever did in college It is very easy to use and the video quality is great I would recommend this to anyone with a subscription                 Awesome

What a joke There are only 11 lessons you can access keep in mind Im a subscriber who has already paid them hundreds of dollars For those 11 courses DigitalTutors has chosen the ones you are LEAST likely to care about Then if you care enough to try and watch the videos the sound doesnt work on brand new iPad 2 The video quality is excellent and it seems to buffer less than on my computer but until they fix the rest of the problems this app is worthless     Worse than nothing

The service is good but the lack of support for this app is dismal enough that DT should just pull it from the App Store The irony is that most of their videos will play in mobile Safari so why cant they play in their app which uses the same QuickTime engine Decide what you want to do with this app DT and move on it instead of setting your users up for disappointment     This is crap

its exactly what the title says which the message on the app icon does not sell it pauses and rarely gets to HD quality I dont have this issue watching lynda tutorials        streaming needs improvement

They say be patient while they convert their videos well its been over a year since the app was released and they only have 13 videos available They shouldnt have released the app until they had all their collections converted Also they say free for a limited time and I say if they charge they are nickel and diming us subscribers who are paying 45 a month or 400 a year The app should be free just like their site and if they person wants to access everything they subscribe simple as that The app for a site like this is another medium to find subscribers and another medium for existing subscribers to view their content Also to add insult to injury here the app has two major flaws even if it had their content available First it doesnt even remember your username and password so every time the app is unloaded from memory which will always happen as you use other apps you have to type it every time which is tedious and it should give us an option save credentials Second it does not allow for caching offline content for viewing when not connected to the Internet So if you have a wifi only device you have to have a hotspot and if you have a 3G4G version then you are going to run your data plan up This app needs a lot of work it should be pulled from the store by digitaltutors until they can get it right     Worthless

With all the technology digital tutors has and with all the trained professionals its taking them a long time to get their videos converted How about stop making new videos and get your cross platform integration down The featured page for the iPad app has stayed the same for a few months so thats either a bug of they have given up on the app for the time being        Very slow progress for a technical training company

Why is there never any updates to this app Why is there no content This app is a great concept but it is missing most of the videos I want to watch And it freezes and crashes a lot when Im Trying to watch anything over 3G or Wifi Please add more videos and optimize for better playback performance Its really a shame because your website is so great But I cant watch any videos from your site on my iPad because you use Flash I was however able to watch some videos from your site on my iPad using a Flash compatible web browser but it was really slow and the site isnt really designed for mobile use so the interface is difficult to maneuver on an iPad But do you get the length I will go to try to access this content on my mobile device Please dedicate people to resolving these issues and make it a priority or risk losing loyal customers        Please add more videos and better performance over 3G

The interface is great and I look forward to being able to look at Videos on the go but before this app can be a viable addition to the DT service they need to address two things 1 just convert all the Videos already Isnt there a way to batch convert them I cant beleive months have gone by and the same Videos are still not converted especially the ones i requested 2 improve the video player which seems not to work with some of the lessons I think downloading the Videos much like the Vault is the better way to go Ben           Great idea and Design Backend needs work

Im also a pluralsight subscriber and when I try to login the app just freezes on me too     Doesnt work

Its not integrated with my Pluralsite login it Hangs if I try to login or create an account The app just doesnt run on my iPad     Hangs

What a waste of time Everything I click says only for desktop Uninstalled Just use your browser dont waste your time     No point

There is nothing there really Cant imagine why it would take so long toconvert the videos its not a one video a month long process Waste of space app until they devote time to do something at least half decent     Pathetic

5stars for the potential Would love to have the app store a course or two for watching on the busin nowifi situations Some playback issues where it wont play the whole lesson by skipping to the replay screen randomly and then scrubbing takes you someplace random after you reload Worried about the free for a limited time when the membership price is already so steep I think a drop in overall price would skyrocket sales and get the people who choose to instead tediously hunt down free tuts and share accounts or dont want to double up on training memberships to take the plunge 3 DT and more houdini1                 Love DT
