David Ellefson Rock Shop - Guitar and Bass Amp with Effects

This app is great Excellent tool to practice with Maybe another amp model or two would be great Also it was a bit noisy with my my iRig adapter which only seems to work well with its own app              Pretty cool

Great tones great effects store your fave tones via presets built in tuner play along with the tunes in your library Its all there And it works Now using this app with the iRiffPort Amazed at how clean and quiet the signal is exactly what I had been hoping for Build quality on the iRiffPort is excellent the cable is nice and supple and get this the headphone jack is at the guitar jack end Common sense rules                 Solid app for practicing

When you switch to bass mode the app crashes Can you please fix this Pretty pricey to be doing that     App crashes on iPad

Finally a much needed update I never understood why the tuner wasnt there to begin with it was dumb to change apps to tune I didnt miss background audio since it plays your music from inside the app but is nice for playing while checking some tabs or webpages Dont expect to get a lot os pedal effects and amps here as there are only 2 cabs and 2 effects iirc They work nicely but is miles away from amplitube or ampkit just like the other apps from pocketlabs The mixer is very nice for playing along or slowing musics down One thing it really needs is a cancel button to close the list of playslists Smetimes it bugs out and wont close so I cant access the mixer unless I reset the app With the price drops its well worth it If you wnat to try the mixer thing you can get the lite version of pocketgk to mess around since this has no lite version Hope to see more updates and tweaks              Nice update

The addition of the tuner really enhances the value of this app We bass players have sadly been underrepresented in the iOS app market thus far However this app is really a step in the right direction This app is much more appropriate and is strongly oriented towards rock bass and guitar players If that describes you you are in luckthis app is right up your alley The tones you produce have a very strong rock vibe and sound great Where it falls a bit flat is the lack of more effects which is odd because most rock players really are heavy users of effects So the lack of a full array of effects is puzzling I could do without the Ellefson sales pitches but its his app so not a lot of choice here I would have also liked the ability to record your work like is available in other apps but again no dice here It worked fine with my Apogee JAM interface BTW Overall this is a real keeper especially if you are a rock kind of player And its great to see yet another app that has bass as a primary orientation rather than an afterthought The developer appears to be updating this app and their others quite frequently and thats a great sign for the future Right now a solid 4Stars And I could definitely see it becoming a 5Star app in the not to distant future              This is more like it
