I have had this app for a while and havent found any gltichesflawsuntil now I set the difficulty to the hardest and sometimes the computer says Checkmate when my king is not even in check Im so confused Do not download this app it may cheat and you dont want to learn the wrong way If this is fixed I give the app 5 stars           Computer Cheating

I Play tournament chess at about 1500 level and I love this app Especially well done are the graphics It looks like a real board Chess master for example has dozens of sets and they are all but one too distracting to play with This app is far better Wonderful adjustment for playing strength I notice a few negative reviews claiming the app does strange things but I suspect it is more likely they are the ones who do not understand the rules I use Rybka on my PC to analyze positions as it is rated over 3200 but it is no fun to always lose I would give it 10 stars if I could The only thing I think it could use is a draw offer It does not seem to recognize draw by insufficient material and we must play on to get the 50 move rule for a draw but it is my favorite app                 Terrific

Ok so to start the pawn problem When I move a pawn 2 spaces forward on my first turn the CPU moves the pawn straght across from mine 3 spaces forward and takes my pawn Also on the highest single player difficulty a queen can take put me in checkmate by moving one space in front of my king It wont let me kill the queen with my king or any other piece that has a clear shot Also I know that knights are the only piece that can move over other pieces Well when I play single player on the highest difficulty the CPUs bishops move over my pieces I also cant preform the move where you switch your king with your rook I would write about more of these problems and more problems but my thumbs and wrists are cramping So take it from me if you are looking at downloading this app dont Run fast run far     Rule problems

This app is definitely the best app you can get for chess although the computer cheats There are a lot of glitches in every other game When youve spent half an hour on a chess game and then the computer then randomly declares checkmate you lose and you cant go back and get the game back its hard Also when the computer is losing it decides to use the stalemate button and the threefold repetition button and when it wants to do it you cant get the game back Thiss not an app you want to get attached to so dont get it if you dont want an ad popping up every five minutes and you dont want a glitch to unfairly make the computer win the game every other game Please fix the gliches     Ok

Lately when the computer puts me in stalemate nothing happens and i have to start a new game Why doesnt it say stalemate on the screen Lately Ive been playing on the hardest mode there is and even when both sides are not in checkmate not even check it says Ive lost and its checkmate        YOU NEED TO UPDATE THIS APP

The AI makes illegal moves I contacted Optime about it and provided screen shots of the move sequence of the latest problem In the past I have had pieces simply disappear        Optima chess

My one problem is that youre forced to get out of check with the king and not be able to move anything else I couldve defeated many friends but it should be being able to move any piece instead of being locked on your king              One Very Small Problem

Every time I am about to win it comes up with a message that says stalemate The last time I had my queen and both rooks vs just their king and right when I was about to get a checkmate it gave me the message again     Stalemate every time

When I am in one player mode the CPU doesnt say checkmate but instead says check or nothingAnd when my king is not in check but stalemate it says nothing     Terrible

This game is a waste of time It just doesnt work The pawn and knight wont even move And you cant even know which piece is what Im a good chess player and thought I would like the game but it doesnt work It is a terrible game That is why I give it one star and think it is a waste of time     WORST GAME EVER

There is a bug like in my game i was trying to move my rock it wouldnt work so I tried moving some one else NOTHING WILL MOVE THE AI CHEATS BADLY        BIG BUG

I really do like the game and I play in single player mode all the time but what really frustrates me is that when the computer gets me into a checkmate or stalemate nothing pops up to say I lost the match Also in two player mode when I dont have the board rotating for each person the second player pieces are backwards Those things really annoy me so fix the problems and Ill give it a 5 star     CheckmateStalemate and two player

I havent experienced any of the weird glitches other people have I do think the computer moves too quickly and if your hand is over the screen still from making your last move its very easy to totally miss the computers move I also wish I could play it in landscape orientation But those are minor quibbles and for how many hours of practice this apphas given me Ill give it five stars What the heck                 Totally happy with it
