The Chase Mobile Checkout is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 4.5 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.0.0 has been released on 2014-11-26. I ve tried on several different devices to log in to the app to no avail Every time I get the incorrect credentials error message I am still able to log in on a desktop computer so it s just the app that isn t working Not worth it in my opinion     Can t even log in This is cool :)
The Android version of this app is better but still poor in design and functionality For the Apple version some of the Buttons are actually just a text link so you have to tap them just right in order to go to the next screen usually requiring multiple taps if you re in a hurry After you complete a sale the screen returns to a main menu where you have to hit Sale again to process another transaction I don t know of any reason why you d want the option to view transaction details or issue refunds or reports after every sale Those options should be in a menu somewhere not on the main menu which I m returned to everytime I make a sale Way to many menus or hoops to jump through when you have a line The text used for the dollar amount entered is somewhere around a font size 8 or 9 When doing 100 s of transactions a night where you have a line this will have vendors processing payments for 8 50 instead of 85 00 The keyboard is also slow or not responsive at times As far as the Bluetooth card reader goes they were decent Not as quick as the Square Tap and Chip readers are by any means but they do allow to swipe cards without a chip but then they are missing Apple Pay and other RFC reader capabilities When given the option to use this app reader vs the Square platform I would ALWAYS go with Square for the ease of use in their UI design and the speed of their reader and app You can also customize the batch out times and POS with Square When doing shows that ran past midnight with a show the following day the sales data became confusing     Poor UI and Time Consuming sheadiego
The main issue is that it won t let you paste your password into the password field Many of us use password management programs that create and store long complicated passwords that are more secure This allows us to create different passwords for every application or website Rather than having just one or two simple passwords that we can remember and use again and again on our websites We need to be able to copy these long complicated passwords and paste them into the password field But with this app you can t do that So it is basically asking you to dumb down your password to something you can remember which makes it less secure That s ridiculous for a financial app of this sort and would be so easy to implement I am finding that Chase Bank just really doesn t care about the customer experience As well there is no way to login using your fingerprint on an iPhone All in all this is a very badly designed app with rudimentary security     So badly designed and unsafe explorz

Some great features were added since my last review but it s still not complete It would be nice to be able to run a tab so that customers do not have to keep running their cards if they have multiple purchases throughout the day Allowing the user the option of staying logged in would also be nice Both of these would really help in reducing overall transaction times                 Great App needs tweaking Caddy231
They are competing with high end mobile checkouts like Square and they need to act like it As of now I prefer Square no questions asked The app makes you log in every time with ridiculous premade usernames erases your order and logs you out if you need to check an email address or phone number ect No invoicing options or email receipts unless a purchase is made This needs to evolve into a complete check out interface and not just a swiping mechanism It is not user friendly and has a learning curve Once Square starts depositing instantly which chase is blocking I will have no reason to pay their fees or use their inferior app             Needs improvement DRFench

Own an RV park in a remote location in South Texas I thought this app would be great I absolutely dread using it and I will be switching to square cash ASAP The customer service is not very good and definitely not quick I have had to delete the app and re download it three times this month Very annoying to use     Poor customer service Big ranch Rv park
First of all they never told me about all of their additional monthly fees When I confronted them they simply said it s in your contract Fine but then the swipe function didn t work so I had to punch a customers cc in which has a higher fee I contacted support to make a claim and they declined to make one I told them to close my account Then I saw another charge on my account They charge you to ship back their equipment and threaten you with another 500 fee if you don t send it back Charging someone 500 for a piece of equipment that s useless without an account Absolute worst service for cc processing     Crashes poor support high fees Mark Nosrati
I never review apps but maybe after posting this review someone in Chase may listen to my advice and release a better version of this app This app is no where near as good as square period The only reason we decided to switch to Chase was the better rates But in return have gotten nothing but headaches 1 The swiper came 2 weeks late I had to contact my sales agent to get the ball rolling They were quick to charge the monthly fee blow my phone up with calls non stop until I agreed to purchase the mobile swiper for 68 and I had no swiper Supposedly there were problems in the shipping warehouse but either way someone dropped the ball on there end 2 Non stop calls to schedule a site survey Don t know why it s required and no one had an explanation But we had a guy come with no identification take pics of our business permits and licenses Asked several questions and was not friendly Again with square they did not send anyone to do a site survey 3 They want to push there expensive readers first and will only sell you a mobile reader as a last resort 4 The interface is a complete joke During the phone training I explained to the rep that the signature screen is way too small the signatures are unreadable I have this app on an IPad Air 2 and the signature box is maybe 1x2 inch I sent here an email of a screen shot of what I was looking at since she couldn t see what I was seeing Yet she was training me how to use the app She said she would talk to tech support and return my call but never did 5 Funds get delayed 2 3 days Square will deposit your funds next day but Chase does not Really don t know why since square processes payments through Chase Please look at squares app and take notes Chase s app looks like a beta version I haven t had any problems with crashing but the reader is glitchy and won t always read the first swipe We are considering switching back to square if updates aren t made to the app and monthly fees become to high     App is horrible DaRealRG3

I just spoke with Misha a guy at Chase Customer support He told me that this app will NOT work on the iPad even know it says on the iTunes web site that it does He wasnt even sure what an iPad was He kept asking me for the Model number of the iPad he got very frustrated when I said 2nd Generation I asked for someone else and he didnt think any of them knew either WOW For reference it does work on an iPad as a 2X iPhone app Works great           Sad customer support

I own a 5 star friendly towing roadside assistance company When on the go and AAA or a motor club calls me for assistance when there own contractors are behind I take there payment using Payware Mobile while Im on the phone with them using my Bluetooth earpiece device or on speaker phone When the card goes throughI let them know it went through and thank them for the business with CheckOut forget it I have to write down the credit card number which is unsafe hang up hope it goes through if not have to call back its so Inconvenience You cant use the app unless you hang up with customers I bank with Chase and use Paymentech with that app was really hoping to use this new app from Paymentech Looks like Im stuck with PAYware Verifone for now which Im ok and happy with till Chase does something about this ridiculous issue           Wont Allow Payments During Call

Im a chase mobile user super smart app that I use for when running transactions when on the go already had a chase merchant account so I just added it to my current account I did need help setting up originally I called around 2 am eastern time and they picked up and helped me out 24hr call center always a huge plus                 Great processing app
