But the instructions and the game play are not intuitive.
Overall though it's fun and I love the sound effects.

Great game overall But in the new scenarios and probably in CK too the knight points arent calculated correctly I had 6 knight points at one time and still lost to the barbarians To top it all off another time I had 2 knight points but my city was still pillaged along with Candamirs city He had 0 knight points What the heck Great Overall
Game generally runs pretty well Occasional crashes and bugs but nothing I wouldnt expect The bots are difficult but I dont think the game favors them like a lot of people claim Online play leaves something to be desired Players are fickle and its hard to get through a full game without everyone quitting There definitely needs to be some sort of penalty for leaving a match or an incentive not to App works disappointing online experience

This game is ok but quickly gets stale as you realize that the AI are always teaming up against you There is none of the politics that make the board game so great In addition I found it impossible to make a multiplayer account Not to mention the majority of content locked behind DLC doors Multiplayer nonfunctional broken AI Too much DLC

1 As soon as you get 2 extra points all the AIs team up on you and continuously move the robber back and forth stealing all your resources Ive gone for rounds of having them move the robber back and forth on me stealing all my resources 2 Trading The AIs will turn down ALL your trade offers every time but will freely trade back and forth between each other over and over Horrible AI

The reason I am writing this review is that I just finished playing a round of this game and was left completely shocked I used all the normal settings except set it to where you need 13 VP to win I was doing amazing and got 12 VP while the closest bot had 7 Then they all stopped trading with me and threw all their robbers and knights at me stopping me from winning multiple times The bot who had 7 VP plays a monopoly card for rocks and ends up with like 40 cards and trades all of them in and builds 6 roads Then builds 2 settlements and magically has all 4 VP cards and wins the game in one turn THIS HAS TO BE FIXED Fun game Bots Favored WAY too much
I had no idea how to play but I had always wanted to learn The tutorials are very helpful You can also choose AIs with different difficulty levels so its easy to adjust the gameplay as you learn and improve I just wish it was available for iPad so that I dont have to keep zooming in to place a settlement Good for beginners
The game is great but two big flaws It needs an undo button And the dice rolling is ridiculous It shows you the stars and there are alway some stance rolling anomaly It is alway on a nber not owned by the live user Dice are crazy

The computer is out to get you the minute you get up by even 1 point AI doesnt recognize potential VPs in hand Be prepared for an onslaught of 7s knights and monopolies being used against you once you take the lead AI is lacking
I prefer playing the bots bc I like quick decisions There are so many 7s But ok because Im getting better at using my cards before I get too many This has upped my real play game Im actually beating the ppl who introduced me to this game No complaints other then wanting to throw my phone when bots team up against me and put the robber on only my s when Im winning I in return trade them nothing give nothing get nothing Youre on your own Love it

I like this app and Im giving it 5 stars bc it is fun and it is totally worth it even with the 10 expansion pack That being said Please fix glitches Sometimes the computer crashes and the whole game stops it could be that I use an iPhone5 Please have Bluetooth functions for players who want to pay together in the same space so it uses less wireless Internet Additionally the online one is also glitchy and it takes a long time but Im assuming it is bad wifi bad reception and such But I feel like I can write this bc I made 4 of my friends get this with expansion pack and we tried playing together and it was not good but it was still fun we are all still playing it but with ourselves lol Good bc its an app I can use

Its perfect when you cant find 2 other players The original version plays just like the board game I recommend you play the board game first with experienced players if you havent played before just so you get the hang of game play Sooooo Fabulous

As far as the graphics and the function the app is great However as others have written i take issue with the randomness of the dice Ive had games where the number 11 has been rolled at least 5 times in a row Thats Ray Babbage improbable I also take issue with the bots Also as others have written its 3 against 1 in this game All bots are out to get you Ive had many games where every bot has has more victory points showing than what Ive had with my dev card points and still have been targeted 456 times in a row for thefts from knight cards There is definitely an unfair skew against the human player Good but frustrating

I love this game I just downloaded the Cities Knights expansion and love it The interface for the expansion is a little clunky at times but if you already know the game its not an issue Highly recommend Excellent adaptation of the game
