Wheres the update     iPhone 5
Awesome Awesome Awesome Thank you Thank you Thank you                 CarrierCompare in 9 words
Thanks for the tool much better that a map with some different colored ink              A bold idea
Not what I hoped it would be Looks like it just asks for your location then guesses based on tower locations     Move on you dont want this app
This app is a joke it always says that your carrier is the best Ran it on three phones sitting right next to each other verizon att and sprint The app shows whatever carrier you have as being the best where you are Its a joke and a fraud Dont waste your time     What a joke
I had 5 our of 5 bars on verizon and it said poor service Dumb app     Didnt work
Limited app Needs to compare all carriers in the tested area           Needs to rate all carriers in the area
Ran a speed test with the SpeedTestnet App and got 50Mbps down and 17Mbps up opened this App and it said I have poor service with ATT at 53kbps down     Liar Liar pants on Fire
Comparison fails every time     Doesnt work
Helpful Found out that my Internet speed was horrible and could recheck speeds after phone company had claimed to fix it I used more to check home Internet speeds              Helpful
I always liked this app and I dont mind ads at all but in addition to the usual ads now I also get annoying loud blaring pop up video ads I find them quite jarring and so annoying that I uninstalled this app        Ads have gotten too intrusive and annoying
Good but buggy great service one minute horrible the next never consistent           Ok
Not bad keep up the good work              Good app for location based comparisons
was a great app but is not working anymore     not working anymore
Clean implementation                 Very neat idea
Based on crowd sourcing No hiding from the facts and at least where I am it consistently show ATT on top              Real data
This app does not work     Does not work
Works fine           Good
Ive had this app and have used it over a span of at least 6 months The speeds reported by the app dont match up to the true speeds that Im actually obtaining I have various speed test apps such as Speedtest by Ookla Im not going to delete this app because I see great potential if they could correct the speed readings They could add a Megabyte counter instead of having just the Bits and Kilobytes only        Off Point
Use it often              Great tool
compared all in the same room but not at the same timeall were my phonestested ATT had iphone 3gs for 23 yrsabout a month agosprintiPhone 4S had 4 a week tested daily returned todaygot Verizon phone todayiPhone 4S only did 2 test My WINNER ATT 2nd placeVerizon Last placeSprint got sick of seeing that puppy lol half the time results would say nullif sprint was on the extended network it would run okay if not it was uselessbout half a mile to a mile away from my house it would work Sprint was also worst using coverage mapatt was best APPS I always make sure I have this appcoverage map in my phone cas I always like to comparesee whats going onnow thanks to me if any of my neighbors use this app they will have something to compare 2                 Used it on 3 carriersgood app
It tells you the strength of your signal and compares it to the nearest people that have used this app This is the only way to objectively compare networks Pass it on                 Stick it to the man
Very useful just excellent                 Excellent app
This is great for when you move to see what provider is best for you           Great App
It compares one sprint one Verizon and one ATT data point Signals change from day to day throughout the day and based on device The app does not correct for those It also does not correct for location differences It also does not average multiple values but uses a single data point for comparisons So the result could be as meaningless as someone with Verizon 200 yards away and 2 months ago on a busy day had low signal with an old crappy phone and another person with sprint two days ago and 10 yards away had great signal with a recent model phone in the middle of the night It is meaningless data without the context being factored in     Erroneous algorithm
Very useful app                 Great app
Very helpful app                 Great
Good for a first version           Not too shabby
The SDK will be great for developers to check which carriers are lacking in certain areas                 Exciting Data
Love built in wifi support                 Great app
Only thing I dont like is it doesnt cover more carriers              None
Great                 Great
Too many bugs to rate higher Often get multiple ratings on the same carrier on a test If you get a good test it seems to match up well with other measurements           Fair App
Thanks                 I like it simple and effective
Uses 50 MB of cell data on tests     Uses 50 MB of cell data on tests
Pretty neat              Cool
Carrier Compare is cool in theory but it is next to useless in practice Two much better apps that offer similar functionality are Coverage and Cell Phone Coverage Map The app Coverage is functionally very different than apps like this that are based upon user submitted reports like this one and Root Metrics excellent Cell Phone Coverage Map We think that Cell Phone Coverage Map is a great app but because it is based upon user submitted reports it tends to only have information about popular major cities and highways and this information is often out of date But at least Cell Phone Coverage Map provides a map Carrier Compare can only tell me that someone many miles away from me in an unknown direction even once was able to get a signal That isnt useful at all For example where we are staying right now a major regional city in FL we are getting 5bars of fast 4G on ATT and the maps in Coverage indicate this but when we checked Carrier Compare it shows no known coverage from any carrier in this entire area at all But on the other hand Cell Phone Coverage Map is great for checking for dead zones in a major urban area that you are visiting It has much finer granularity than is possible in a high level app like Coverage They are both great apps and since they solve very different problems they actually work great in conjunction with each other I encourage everyone to check them both out And until Carrier Compare at the very least provides a map overview you are better off looking elsewhere Note I am the cocreator of the app Coverage and I am chiming in here to share some thoughts on how our app can also help users looking to find the best cellular coverage options     Compared to other apps
No matter where I run the app it always shows ATT as fair and every other carrier as poor which especially where I work simply isnt true I just dont trust this app at all     Unreliable prefers ATT
is all itll say these days It did work at some point but hasnt for long enough for me to give up on it Shame it was usefulinteresting before     Comparison failed
I was all gunho to switch to Verizon in my area but then this app put the brakes on that and after a little more checking confirmed that sticking to ATT was the best for me as far as signal strength and coverage                 Works Perfect
I thought this would be quite an useful app to help me decide which carrier to switch to But no I get 5 very different results testing from the exact same spot in my home within 3 min Bottom line unreliable results     Nice concept poor execution
I dont know what people are complaining about This service is FREE and for me it has been very useful It clearly states when you are running the test that each one of these tests adds to the cumulative data and the resulting cumulative data is more accurate as more tests are run It is no different than running an internet speed test Of course you are going to get the CURRENT CONDITIONS If you want more accuracy run more tests It is as simple as that I do wish the dev would make this available for Windows phones as well Thanks for a useful service                 Very useful and the service is FREE
Good for US Does not recognize tmo or networks outside the US              Good
Just ran Carrier Compare It measured my WiFi at 243Mbps whereas multiple other apps clock it at 253Mbps So dont know if any of the data can be trusted     Results were 10x off
Nice and simple indicator is a help when in dead spots              Good indicator
I like knowing who has the best coverage I do hate all the ads Every other app that I have if I have the Pro version I have no ads I need to make more test to verify that does not favor your carrier           The truth is here
Hi it is nice but need carrier names correction              Need improvements
This thing is a lie     There is no spoon
Would be awesome if it had some graphical maps of service              Good
5 Stars Opens up and gives comparisons quickly                 Great
