I have an appradio 2 Connected with the iPhone 5 wire kit Firmware 830 on the appradio My iPhone 5 is running iOS 6 The browser opens but Wong let you touch the screen on the appradio It also does nothing on you iPhone Not recommended save your hard earned money App does not work

I cant believe I PAID for this It only loads mobile versions of websites it doesnt support any GEO functions Theres no flash support so you cant look at the weather radar Its slower than any other browser and extremely power hungry My phone actually got hot trying to set the app up without being plugged in to the radio JUNK DONT BUY IT Useless

They should really state in the description that it does not work on iOS 6 I have an appradio 2 with an iPhone 5 on 612 and I paid full price for a black screen on the radio that does nothing Dont waste your money on a black screen Shut your car off and stare at the blank screen on your radio there ya go just saved you 199 Yikes

The web address and search bars are ok when vied from teh iPhone but theyre too small and lack detail when displayed on the head unit Meh

Update Pioneer released an updated version today and it works with iOS 612 and iPhone 4S Good job Pioneer 4 stars for getting the update out on the AppStore This app is pretty cool when not connected to the AppRadio When you try to use it with an AppRadio 2 it just hangs with a blank screen on the radio and an unresponsive UI on the phone iPhone 4S64GB iOS 612 AVHX5500BHS AppRadio 2 Could be a good app if it worked

Some pages get zoomed in and you cant scroll left or right to see the content It gets stuck in single column mode Also on most pages the tap calibration is off by about 15 inches to the right Thats actually the only way you can tap stuff thats off the screen The problem is youre blind tapping Pretty much useless for the time being Very Quirky

There should be an option to bypass the Opera proxy service Compared to Safari some sites look and function different and slower over the same connection Also most mobileaware sites trigger a mobile phone compatible layout even when used on the Pioneer head unit with a wide screen The browser should use a different user agent so that the iPad or desktop version of a site loads when the head unit is connected Slow funky layout of pages

Either it doesnt work with i5 or iOS6 or both or something else is wrong Not recommended Doesnt work

Found out today via Pioneer the app will work through an iPhone with iOS 5 not 6 So either CarBrowser or Apple need to update the problem Until then I dont know if the app is good or bad Works with iOS 5
