This app is well worth the money If you have a mac and would like to remotely control it from your device this is the app for the job The functions are great and the buttons and keyboard are exceptional Even the mouse is smoother than I expected By the way I am using it right now to write this review THIS IS GREAT                 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

Like many other reviewers after trying many other apps out there for Remote Desktop controlling THIS APP IS IT Look no further What I love the most is that once connected I can control the volume of the computer playing pandora in the living room by simply using the volume buttons on my iPhone And I can toggle playpause just by shaking the phone Worth every penny And the desktop app is great too I use just about every app this developer makes He is good                 Fantastic It just works

Ive been using RowMotePro for so many years dating back to my first gen iPhone iPod touch and iPad Until recently I was pretty happy with it but performance was getting laggy on all my macs and iPhone 5 My wifi works excellent in the house exceeding my expectations but something was causing rowmote to be flakey Enter BTT Remote I am a big fan of Andreas the developer Ive been using his Mac app BTT BetterTouchTool since the very beginning to customize my trackpads and mice for gestures that are unsupported by OS X shortcuts and so much more Quite literally I would not use my Mac without it The app is so indispensable If he ever stops making it Ill either need to learn how to make the app for myself or abandon Macs LOL ok maybe not but I really do feel strongly about it Early on in BTTs history I tried to convince Andreas to accept donations but there were reasons he could not Now gazillions of people use his app which cannot be sold in the Mac App Store for a variety of reasons Thanks Apple Way to help the consumer This means his most popular app cant be sold thru mainstream channels so he accepts donations now and has developed a series of other App Store friendly apps for Macs and iOS This particular app that Im reviewing talks to BTT on the Mac and gives you mousekeyboard control and shortcuts for other apps You dont need another utility running in the background if youre already a BTT user For instance I had to run an app for rowmote for years on my Mac It was ok but needed to be updated and would occasionally need to be repaired with my iOS devices It always happened at the worst time like when my phone couldnt talk to the Mac and my physical keyboard was in another room BTT has a much simpler pairing process You dont have to read and type codes to pair its a simple yesno popup I dig that as it can be a pain to do the code especially in some recent versions of iOS The remote touchpad feature in this app is fast and responsive And the cursor gets larger while moving which is a fantastic idea because I mostly use this on my media center so I dont have to keep a dedicated mouse and keyboard hooked up or paired This lets me control my Mac Mini from the couch relaunch plex or surf the web etc And the enlarged cursor makes it much easier to see from the couch or bed Ok rant over If you Need a good remotemousekeyboard app for controlling your Mac from your iDevices JUST BUY THIS APP Its great and it supports the great work Andreas is doing with BTT for the Mac which hopefully helps him afford to continue developing these apps for many many years to come                 Great app

This app is amazing Ive been using BTT on the Mac for quite a while and loved it The ability to control the Mac without in a nonVNC method is JUST what I wanted The ability to kill apps is my primary desire Works perfectly                 Holy cow

BetterTouchTool the Mac app on its own is indispensable with its highly customizable gestures and shortcuts but using it with BTT Remote takes my couch potatoness to the next level BTT Remote works flawlessly with my Mac most of the time unlike some of the more expensive hardware read 70 I purchased in a vain attempt to control my Mac from a distance Trackpad usage is slightly cumbersome because the iPad and iPhone touchscreen cannot match up to the Magic Trackpads trackpad smooth surface at this point so but creating Action Gestures allows me to minimize trackpad usage                 Worth every cent

You cant go wrong with that one Best two Dollars Ive ever spend You can use it as a remote for iTunes on your Mac But it can do so much more The possibilities are endless                 Best App of its kind

Ive used BTT for years and its one of my favorite applications With BTT remote I can easily control my MacBook Pro from across the room It would be awesome if views were restored in and out of multitasking                 Loves Your Apps

Ive wanted this app for a long time and tried many that just werent up to snuff I bought this immediately without reading the reviews because the desktop companion app is so terrific that even if the mobile app disappointed I wouldnt feel bad about supporting the dev But it doesnt disappoint                 Amazing

This app does everything I need it to I had it running in literally less than five minutes Setup is easy even though I have yet to try the more advanced features I would have paid more for it                 Just what I needed and more

Ive been using Better Touch Tool on my mac for well over a year now and have always loved it Its had its bugs but the developer is very quick to release updates I had high hopes for this app and it exceeded them all You can use the keyboard with all media keys use the trackpad multitouch with custom gestures access the menu bar of any running app access the file system and open documents on your mac and I am sure there are many more features I just havent found yet I wont need to use my wireless keyboard and trackpad anymore to watch streaming content on my TV Ive got this app                 Way better than I expected

I purchased BTT Remote many months ago How do I tell if I properly got the PRO version IAP update There is no indication of PRO anywhere in the app        PRO version

I love BTT and had used one other remote mouse in the past which constantly lost connection and was jumpy This one is smooth the buttons are in perfect places and well thought out I dont think I could love this more Will update if I find anything that makes me love it less                 This is AWESOME

I dont know the developer personally but I feel like I do I work for a highly recognizable technology company and recommend BTT and BTT Remote to hundreds of clients This app and its sister OSX App for the mac have functionality and use that are unparalleled Most office living room and bedroom setups can make great use of this wireless connectivity ie My bedroom has a MacBook Pro setup with my flat screen and I utilize BTT Remote to operate its keyboardmouse Friends and family are always impressed by the custom trackpad gestures supported by the OSX App Thanks for this great update this new GUI looks awesome I cant wait to see and experience more                 Reliable for years

This app is incredible I am extremely lazy and I dont want to get up from my bed to control my music from my computer I tried using the iTunes remote app but I live in a dorm with an enterprise network I went out on a limb when buying this app because I didnt know if this would work either but after using the manual connect with IP address and port I was able to use this app with my Mac without a hitch The sheer number of things you can do with this app is amazing You can basically control your whole computer with the touch pads and the custom commands I havent found any bugs so far There are two touch pads for some reason that was not very intuitive but they both work very well I love this app and BetterTouchTool on the Mac I highly recommend this app and I look forward to using it daily                 Worked where iTunes Remote didnt

This app is by far the greatest trackpad app out there Not only is it a trackpad but you can control your entire computer with custom jesters and shortcuts There is a keyboard that you can activate to type you can see all of your files and easily navigate to which file you want opened directly from your iPad and multi finger gestures work This app was easily worth the money I paid for it and much much more                 The best trackpad app on the market

Ive had my MacBook for about 6 years now and since I found better touch tool I have never taken it off Now that this remote is out it simply extends the functionality to my iPhone and iPad Sweeeeet Im also happy to support the developer and kudos to himher for making the Mac version FREE                 Indispensable tool

Love BetterTouchTool on my mac and this is an excellent complement to it The most useful feature for me is being able to control my computers volume with the volume buttons on my phone Great app                 Extremely useful

I mainly bought this app to support the dev since I love BTT on my macbook pro and recommend it to all new mac users Ive tried apps like this before but never really cared for them especially because they never got updated and required yet another server running on my machine This seems like it gets good attention from the developer and whats even better is I already have BTT installed on my computer so everything just works I highly recommend it                 Great app

I initially bought this app just to show support for the excellent OSX app that that I use every day After having used this for some time I believe it is by far the best remote control app Ive used and Ive used several This one is much less picky in making the connection to my computer and it has many more features than the others Ive used                 Best remote control app I have used

I just downloaded this app It is simple but elegant The onscreen mouse pointer is much larger than the one activated by the Macs physical trackpad which makes for easy use from a distance because I can easily see what I am pointing at from the couch I use it to control Netflix on my external monitor from my couch I have used the better touch tool app on my Mac for years and love it It is a perfect app and I was happy to pay 2 bucks for this just as a thank you for BTT but this app turned out to be awesome as well Ok so I just discovered the customizable gestures This app really is just as powerful as the Mac counterpart Again my main use is for controlling Netflix so I set the physical volume up button on the iPhone as cmd f which toggles full screen The volume down button dims my macs display so that only the external monitor is on And shaking my iphone activates the return key which pauses or plays the video Honestly this is just too cool I am so pleased with this I may skip buying that bluray player with Netflix support that I was considering because I was tired of getting off the couch all the time to skip to the next episode                 Well done

55 stars no doubt Already having btt on my Mac made this as easy as downloading opening and clicking connect to use Simple and useful                 Works great

Ive tried a few apps like this and they sucked This one is the real deal The trackpad is responsive and I like that the cursor enlarges when it moves great for using with a television The UI for the iOS app has that sleek aluminum look very polished I also love the custom gestures on the Mac app as well Together BetterTouchTool and BTT Remote are awesome                 Best iOS remote app Hands down

What an amazing I cant believe Ive gone this long without having something like this I have a bad back and spent a lot of time in bed its great to be able to access my content from my bed instead of having to get up                 Wow

Got it working sorta kinda upgraded and killed it dead dead dead Submitted bug report yesterday but no acknowledgement Look forward to exploring it more the reviews suggest it is better than free medical insurance        Yosemite destroyed it

BTT Remote is an excellent trackpad app but honestly I dont even use that feature I use BTT Remote as a way to turn my iPhone into a remote control for my Mac and I love it Its easy to do Download the BetterTouchTool app for your Mac In the settings create a bunch of actions for BTT Remote When you open the BTT Remote app on your iPhone or iPad or both the actions you set up will be there in a list That feature alone is worth ten times what the developer is charging for this app Seriously BTT Remote is outstanding                 Better than Great This app is ESSENTIAL

Ive used better touch tool on my MacBook for a good year now Just updated saw that it could be integrated with my phone figured Id give it a try Works perfectly Im now controlling my mini Mac connected to my tv works much better than the offbrand trackpadkeyboard I bought for it This wasnt well documented but for anyones information this works over local ipport and bonjour picks up the devices running better touch no problem Thanks                 Nice

Has a couple of bugs but Im very impressed at what it can do Definitely useful since I record stuff from my computer and I can just use my iPhone to start and stop recording even if Im away from my computer              Great software
