App content leads to extremely expensive inapp purchases given as donations to a company called Intellectual Reserve Inc Based in Salt Lake City Content is derivative text containing large sections of the King James Bible Text also condones and celebrates the beheading of local magistrates in retribution for property rights disputes ordained and demanded by a middle eastern derived Deity And this was in the first few chapters Racism a thoroughly male focus and overt prosperity gospel pap plaster the remaining chapters There is a redeeming quality though From a purely anthropological standpoint this text is excellent at condensing post enlightenment hand waving and American racial bias        Anachronistic bible fanfiction

Everyday when I open the app the chapter is blank I have to flip to the next chapter and back to get words to appear The problem then is that it doesnt leave off at the verse I stopped reading I redownloaded it and it still doesnt work Its like reading a book without a bookmark        Bug

When I found this I was very excited to try it on my long commute and various car rides during the day I was soon to be very disappointed with the entire thing except the fact that you can change the language Every time I close and restart the app it loads the chapter where I left off That would be great except when the audio plays it automatically starts back at the introduction even though the screen shows the chapter loaded where I left off This is incredibly frustrating Even if I reselect that same chapter the audio starts to play the introduction yet again I have to skip to another chapter and then go back to the chapter I want for it to finally load that chapter and play it properly This is just a huge waste of time and unnecessary I cant believe there isnt a setting to control this or an option to resume or select a new chapter when the app opens Further the app has been extremely glitchy with the new iOS update and closes in the middle of a chapter reading quite frequently Once again when I reopen the app it starts all the way back at the introduction and I have to go through that same annoying process I thought maybe it was an issue with cellular signal so I tried it with wifi and have had the same problem On top of that I couldnt imagine a more annoying female voice that reads the chapter headings and intros Not sure what that tone or expression is she is trying to add to make herself sound more spiritual or insightful but it is not easy on the ears and needs a change However the voice for the actual scripture narrator in each chapter is easy listening and a good tone and pace Its back to paper scriptures and my fm radio in the car So long worthless BOM app until you are fixed     Flawed

I love having the Book of Mormon available in other languages and have been practicing reading them but Ive had a few troubles 1 Some chapters wont scroll down so I can only read the first few verses in that chapter 2 When listening to the Spanish audio it always starts from the introduction of the book rather than where you left off or which chapter you are currently open to Then every time you listen again you have to skip to where you want to readlisten This can be annoying when you get farther along in the book Even with these problems I would recommend the app and would love to see German and French audio added in the next update           Good app but needs bugs fixed

This Bible fanfiction is uncreative and generally mind numbing In attempts to brainwash you Joseph Smith also made the mistake of making up totally unrealistic stories in a world he claims to be true But dont worry this is a mean review and because Im not being nice Joseph Smith and Brigham Young wont let my husband whom I should be subservient to become God of his own planet and I will never know the pleasure of me and my sister wives oh wait God changed his mind after it was outlawed become his adoring moons Makes a decent read if you enjoy satire     Subpar satirical piece

Love the Book of Mormon Find this app unusable It turns off as soon as your phone auto locks 12 min for most mortals It turns off if you switch to another app there are times I need to see if the email that just came in is important or not And timesthink the wars of Almathat I may want to check the weather Developerscheck out Stitcher iTunes Audible and every other app that manages to keep playing if a persons phone auto locks And while youre tweaking give us the option of 125 and 15 times the normal speed Seriously the Book of Mormon deserves better     Behold this app is woefully inadequate

I read from this digital copy in Spanish every night Ever since the last Apple update when you open the app all that shows is a white screen with direction arrows at the top The only way to correct this is to move forward or backward one chapter and then go to the original chapter PLEASE fix this              Spanish Version

This is a great app for reading the Book of Mormon but if you want to listen the Audio starts over at the introduction every single time Quite frustrating           Not Good for Audio

I just upgraded to the iPhone 6 Plus and noticed that the app dont have a play button to read to you like it did on my iPhone 5 I deleted it and redownload it and it still isnt there Other than that its a solid app I would also like to see it include the doctrine and covenants and the pearl of great price included to make this a complete set              iPhone 6 Plus dont have a play button
