BOGGLE for iPad

Boggle continues to boggle the mind with its three minute challenge This new version is great except that the dictionary doesntt work which puts in doubt many of the far fetched words cited at the end of reach game              Boggle

NOTE There is NO SUPPORT FOR THIS GAME I have been trying to reach CUSTOMER SERVICE for Weeks and just going in circles The Dictionary which is very cool in the iPod version DOES NOT WORK AT ALL ON THE IPAD VERSION In addition words need to be added such as QUEENS It is obvious that the creators of this version wanted to keep it clean but their choices come off as judgmental Weird I would say keep allow words that are words and keep out the swear words Please fix AND FIX THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SO THAT WE DONT HAVE TO GIVE A BAD RATING FOR YOU TO HEAR US     Love the game HATE THE SUPPORT

Every game there are at least half a dozen words Boggle wont let me play that I have confirmed are in all standard dictionaries It seems to filter words that it deems inappropriate for young audiences So if youre planning to use this for family play its probably right up your ally But if youre a competitive player you might want to find something with a complete dictionary        Missing Words from Standard Dictionary

I also have the iphone version The ipad one is clearly inferior The vocabulary bank is much smaller For example queer is a proper word Why does the iphone version count it and not this one You also have no option to restart the game as you do on the iphone version I love boggle but skip this ap until they fix it        Inferior to Iphone version

Had this game on my kindle fire and it worked great hours of fun Purchased recently for my iPad mini and it barely works no 3 x feature by by yourself function doesnt work Absolute garbage     waste of money

It seems that if I spell a word but it doesnt match the letters used by the game it doesnt count The game should be able to handle ROT regardless of whether or not I used the same letters they did to spell it I enjoy this game but it frustrating to see a word you know was listed in the game not listed in the scoring list           Words are not scored

The list of words they use is ridiculous     Terrible Word List

I have screen shots Meth will show as an acceptable wordBUT you cant chose it You can choose meths but NOT meth I thought for awhile this was happening At the end of this game I chose replay Methcorrectly entered would NOT play I feel there are other words but this is one Im positive is a problem        Wont allow the word meth to be used

Decent ui and lookfeel but lack of a dictionary to learn the words you miss and constant refusal to accept legitimate words is a real disappointment        Not quite

Everyone else but Boggle has managed to make Bogglestyle games fun on an Ipad The interface is attractive but the gameplay is horrible Letter selection is fixed when you lift you hand so if you dont manage to get the word right the misspelled word just sits there until you x it out I make a lit more mistakes than with other similar games by accidentally selecting the wrong letters And when you select a letter it suddenly gets so big that it is difficult to select the next letter     Gameplay is awkward

Who designed this garbage Theres no online multiplayer no background music the animations are from the 90s no real scorekeeping all you do is rack up wordsno extra points for bigger words so whats the incentive I dont even know when the last time they updated it was seriously its been the same crappy nofrills nofun game for years I downloaded this game when they first came out with it because I love Boggle and it had has SO much potential to be an engaging amazing game Nope Its fun for about 5 minutes before you want to rip off your own head to end the mindnumbing boring nothingness that is this game I recently redownloaded it to give it another shot and its the same crap as before Come on guys there are so many obvious things you could do to make this a fun and engaging game JUST DO IT ALREADY     This app BLOWS

Not as good as the iPhone version Dictionary doesnt work words available on phone arent available here Plurals of some words allowed but not the singular Sloppy work Also number of boards limited on both games Also if you misspell you have to find the first letter you used and tap it again to start over Otherwise you annoyingly keep adding letters Stupid way of doing it again much better on the phone Will play that one on my iPad instead Only problem with that is iOS 7 cuts off the very top of the phones board when using it on the iPad Sorry I wasted a buck           Okay

The dictionary doesnt work and I think I might know why I looked up some of the words that Ive never seen before at Merriam Webster Guess whattheyre not real words I love playing boggle It keeps the brain focused This version however is in need of serious updates and revisions NoticeI used real words in this review Take note EA     Frustrating

Been playing this game for years never had an issue Ever since the latest iOS update the game crashes When open in the background it also crashes other apps and causes the iPad to restart This needs to be fixed and no updates have come out for this game in years     Crashes constantly

The really terrible thing about this app that makes it practically a joke is that many of the words in the apps solution have no meaning at all I mean how hard is it to tie it to the built in dictionary Click on a solution word and ask for definition and the answer is no known definition WT        It could have been good

The music wont work Plus it got a bug when I tried to link it to Facebook which is the only way to see a leader board Just a horrible layout I had the last version and it was great This one is a pure disappointment     Dysfunctional

Definitions dont work what in the world is a GHAT I still dont understand why EA doesnt support GameCenter Ill buy no more EA games that insist on using Origin only It would be nice if one could filter the possible words between all and common As I said above how often do you see the word GHAT Or FEH FOH HERM HETH ITHER MHO ok just looked it up clever people but its not common THERM THERMIT Yes they are all words I think but its so disheartening when I get 30 words but Im told I only found 30 out of a possible 160 It would also be nice to sort my list alphabetically not in chronological order as well as the list of allfiltered words This should be sortable alphabetically or by length Im now worriedconcerned that EA is not going to even see this feedback or continue development Hmmmm        I WANT A REFUND

Listen to us please If we pay for an app we especially there to be NO ads Also use a real dictionary and only include English words in the English version     Use real words No ads in paid apps

but alas it stopped working and I dont see where it will start workin again Used to be fun to play but it just crashes after it hits the menu screen     If it still worked Id give it 5 stars

I love Boggle however Wish there was a dictionary to look up the meaning Knowing the meaning of a word helps one add that word to the players repertoire of knowledge Also Please find a way to allow the player to add words For example Spunk is not allowed though the word has many different meanings I would also like to add foreign words that are commonly used in English           Love but needs improvements

The game is okay But some things about it are really annoying to the point that I dont really like playing it The biggest problem is the way the letters respond to being selected they grow to like three times their original size so that they actually cover up the letters next to them So even if you know exactly what word you want to make its hard to see what the heck youre even clicking on The second problem is that the supposed integration with dictionarycom totally does not work You click define and it always says no definition found Even with known words Its just kind of poorly done Maybe okay for free but not worth the dollar        Should have read reviews before buying

I love Boggle but this game doesnt meet my expectations Trying to select letters isnt easy like it should be it so SO easy to hit the wrong letter when you know for a FACT you didnt scroll over a letter The main reason why I paid for it was for the built in dictionary well that doesnt work This game needs updates and fast        Not a happy customer

This would be a great game if there was any thought put into the creation of it The dictionary is useless and just makes up words that dont exist and refuses words that do When you look up one of the words it says you missed its own dictionary cant give you a definition So where do these words come from What good is a word game with a program that doesnt know words        Poor design with words that dont exist

The linking to Facebook crashed the app The censoring is obnoxious there are plenty of legitimate words that someone has decided are offensive Im an adult let me decide if a word is too offensive If its in the dictionary and not proper let me play it     Multiple problems

Why doesnt this app allow the screen to go blank If I forget to close the app it stays open forever not allowing the screen to lock        Wastes battery

The whole reason i got the game was to play multiplayer with my wife with our own pads over the network where we both can play the same boggle board at the same time Please please please add online multiplayer support I give t 3 stars for the hope of new improvement to come in that area           Miltiplayer

Taps are misinterpreted or behave in an unexpected manner If you spell something wrong you have to do an extra tap to clear it Game play is not smooth Ads do not belong in a paid app This is for the iPad but the playing area is small Large tiles would prevent errors especially on diagonal moves     Terrible interface ads in a paid app

I love Boggle and have since I was a kid Wordy HD is much faster and designed for true lovers of Boggle and words     Dont waste your time

Just purchased this app Ive had the iPhone version forever and love it When you make a mistake with a word or accidentally hit a letter it becomes a process to clear that letter or group of letters I dont usually download apps that cost money and wished I hadnt this time Hopefully they make some changes     Disappointed

Game does not move fast enough You have to keep reentering words cause it doesnt accept them fast enough The smartphone one works better        Very Slow
