Ok so I read the reviews about the app opening up on the coast of Africa I figured they had fixed it But no mine opened in the middle of the ocean near Africa I soon realized that you should pick out a bike program then it opens up in your city Seems to work good at letting you know where stations are and how many bikes and empty slots are there                 Maps

This app is meant for you to find the locations of the rentals and it fails in so many levels of doing so     Worthless

This app wants to access my GPS even when Im not using the app        Privacy Issues

This is fine its functionality is basic tells you how many bikes are where My only nit is that the Visit website button is too close to the Find a Bcycle button For my use I rarely need to visit the website so its a bit jarring to get sent to the browser inadvertently and my fingers arent above average in size Maybe make these into smaller buttons on either lower corner or website button on top and find bike button on bottom Some ideas 1 Use the phone to scan in the ID of the bike to reporttext any needed repairs 2 Use the phone to release the bike instead of the card 3 Use the phone to reserve a bike hmmm nix that youd have to figure out a way to deal with noshows              pretty good

Was annoyed initially bc I went straight to the map and it put me in Africa like the other people despite it having a GPS marker on my location when I navigated there Then I zoomed in and it showed no stations whatsoever You have to select the program that youre in first from the main menu screen then go into the map Everything then populated as desired immediately upon going into the map           Sufficient for its purpose

This app opens in the far eastern Atlantic off the coast of Ghana Why Try thumbing to North America but youre zoomed all the way in so it takes forever Summon two fingers to zoom out try this on a bike and recenter in your city And after all that there are no pins showing you what you want to see Do yourself a favor and download the PDF of the map from their website to Kindle or something B Cycle the service is 5 stars but this app is the opposite     Beyond useless

Clean simple easy to use I love it It will be interesting to see other installations pop up throught the country                 Perfect for bikes in Denver

App doesnt zoom in close enough to make distinctions on stations App should allow user to log in and see their own account information App should allow setup for favoritemostused stations As this an iPhone app it should address the terrible experience users have using the iPhone browser to access the BCycle website Flash is used extensively pop up windows make navigating on a iPhone screen very difficult I love the BCycle concept and I am an annual subscriber This app is only vaguely useful feels like it was released too early           Room for improvement

Accurately shows where available bikes are located and available docks On a recent commute to the museum this spot on info saved us some steps and took us to the right docks for bikes Bbike is a great service and amenity for any citytown and this app just makes it better                 Just great

It shows me all the stations but it doesnt let me see how many bikes and docks are available at each one The interface doesnt render quite right Instead of launching Safari to view the website it should open it within the app Also Im pretty sure there isnt a station in Waterloo Wisconsin but the app seems to think there is        Good concept but it doesnt work

I think this is the most useless app I have ever downloaded but maybe theres just a bug I selected my city but if I try to find bikes I just see a map with no trace of bikes But to be fair the link to the website works great Too bad you cant find bikes on the website either     Useless

I need an app to know if bikes are available and there is no mobile web version Unfortunately this app is broken doesnt show any bikes in Austin So with no app and no mobile web I dont know how this can be considered a usable service     Useless

This app has basic info Bikes and slots available per location which is great but could be better Please update app for retina display iPhone 5 screen and add more features like login information so we can see our history use Thanks           Good app Make it better

Step 1 chose your program aka city Step 2 allow app to use your location Viola The app shows all the stations and lets you know how many bikes are available and how many open parking spaces there are Fabulous                 Easy to use IF you follow directions

Asks if I will allow location I say yes and it takes me to the oceans in Asia and then all I see is blue Cant even scroll to the US It just shows blue     Does not work

The only piece if the app really worth anything is the map showing where the stations are at and that piece doesnt work Just puts me in the middle of the ocean and doesnt show any stations     Doesnt work

That should be automated           Works well once you select program location

Ok so my app works fine the main issue I have is the price to use the bike I dont need the bike for 24 hrs so why should I have to pay a fee Just charge me like 1 for a docking fee they gotta make money somehow plus another dollar or so for every 510 minutes It shouldnt take much longer than that to get to your destination as Austins docks are pretty clustered A long term flat fee should be available too Theres my 2 cents        Too expensive

Revised rating after realizing that the app works ok after you select program ie your city before the app will work But still if my GPS clearly tells you Im in Denver why do I have to tell you Im looking for bikes in Denver before youll stop zooming off the coast of Ghana Im clearly not looking for bikes in the Atlantic Ocean If I must select a program before the app will work prompt me to do so Thats all itd take to make this a 4 or 5 star review BCycle is a great program but app is lacking in clarity        Great program not so great app

So many people gave bad reviews because they didnt choose their program This is a very useful program and the app could have some minor improvements but it is still great                 Great app

At least on iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 this app doesnt show a single B Cycle location in the US and suggests going to the ocean off the coast if Africa People really need this app because 1 bcycle doesnt offer paper maps togo 2 their website isnt mobile friendly 3 Apple Maps doesnt show the station locations and 4 Google Maps station locations are inaccurate at least in SATX I had a great time renting BCycles today for the first time but was bummed that I had to pay extra fees because the only stations I could find were closed and the app and other above listed options didnt work either Update now I understand why this didnt work for me and all the other people leaving bad reviews The Find a Bcycle button doesnt work unroll one hits the Find a Program button below and selects a city Automatic city detection should be automatic or at the very least the user should be prompted to select a city upon launch because the app doesnt work at all without it     Location functionality broken

Between the website and the app its impossible to find a map that works Thats the most important part     Terrible

I am not sure why the other reviewer had such a problem I had no trouble at all going right to my exact location and finding the nearest Bcycle The map shows you all of the stations Just tap on the icon closest to you and it will tell you how many bikes are available and how many docking stations are open                 Works great

Great app for what it does however if you dont select your program first youll end up in the Atlantic Ocean                 Select your program first

If you click ok to that first popup just sit your phone down and watch how fast this thing drains the battery Uninstall it and boom battery stabilizes and decreases at a normal rate     Battery sucker

Downloaded this to help me evaluate if Bcycle us something that I want to get involved in Overall looks great One thing Id like to see is some search functionality so I can see if there is a station near a potential destination Such trip planning functionality would put this app over the top              Only one thing missing

I was also having the problem of the map loading of the coast of Africa Select the city you are in first and then it works great If you click on a station it gives you a count of bikes and open stalls available Good app                 Biking in Denver

This app does all you need which is to find stations and see available bikes and docks However I dont understand why ones current location is a dropped and constantly redropped pin instead of the standard blue dot It takes too long to find your location initially I agree with the idea of saving a location to open to           Useful but needs some improvement

Like others I was balancing traffic and a bike trying to find an open spot It accurately located me in Austin but opened up in the Gulf of Guinea When I did get it relocated it had the locations of the bike drop off but the numbers we irrelevant No additional information when clicking on bike locations You are better off using the website but be aware it isnt particularly mobile friendly     Useless app

Finally Apple let it out Even though Ive never had trouble finding or docking a bike it is nice to be able to check so easily and quickly                 Perfect Clean simple interface

Unfortunately this app is barely worthwhile because it is just too basic It would be helpful to at least be able to log into your account from the app itself     Too basic

I think its great the app has expansion capability for ifwhen the program spreads across america to other cities but until then it would be nice to just have a basic picture map of the Bcycle stations in Denver so I dont have to be connected to data and wait for the app to find my location every time For a smaller tweak I would like it if the map zoomed in more to my current location to show me just the 34 stations near me RIght now it zooms to the entire city of Denver with all of the 30 stations showing For future functionality it would be cool if I could log onto my Bcycle account to see my riding statistics and expenditures similar to on the website Thanks           Simplify a Little More

The app is very unreliable When I can go to the map to find a station with available bikes I can see my location but the bike stations that are suppose to show you where bikes are located hardly ever works     Bicycle great App stinks

On the iPhone 4 this app does not give station status for Denver It only displays station location and directs the user to the iPhone unfriendly website Although maps are informative for locating stations I would like a Favorites list that allowed me to check status on my most frequently used stations     At least itdoesnt crash And it doesnt do much

I can see how others have written about location problem but the solution is just selecting the program which is Houston cycling then just press find bike                 Works perfectly fine
