I initially found myself annoyed by the difficulty of this game but the targeting system added in the update really helps on the easier levels and makes the game more enjoyable I still would like to see a free play or practice mode maybe your score could be based on the lowest average time between kills or on your accuracy Or both But now that the developers have made significant progress notably by reducing the file size from over 200 mb to 70 I have good faith they will continue to improve an already wellmade product Keep improving this and it will soon be worth more than 99                 Great Update

Dont waste your money The great graphics on this game are nothing to write home about The view is very hard to control and keep the birds on your screen and there is no reticule to even show where you arrow will end up Plus the game is really large and takes up a lot of space on you phone Skip it     DO NOT WASTE EVEN A DOLLAR ON THIS GAME

All I can say is what a strange game Fun for the first few levels I made it to level 9 before I got bored of it I managed to kill a bird using only one arrow seeing that youd have to shoot it at least twice for a kill the bird fell from my first arrow and hit the same arrow falling down The tilt control could use a little tweaking and it would be better if you could chase your target in a free environment instead of the damn bird flying around you in circles or throw in multiple targets at a time Other than that its a fun game if you have 5 minutes to kill           Its ok

This is probably disturbing game that Ive ever played The game sets a very interesting ambiance with its highly colorsaturated backgrounds and creepy music When wearing headphones it seems like there are disembodied instruments floating above your head constantly moving around The overall effect is of a bad acid trip The games objective is to kill birds by shooting arrows at them You can pin them by one wing to a wall before finishing them off for extra points Just when you think that it cant get any stranger around level 5 the birds start shouting out random phrases like OW That hurt Im a dead bird and my favorite Thats not a cracker To the developers of this app Please spare the world from this monstrosity Even though I got this app for free I am demanding a refund     What the f

First of all this is NOTHING like eating mushrooms guy You prob bought portabellos soaked in PCP Anyway this game is ridiculous 16 levels of the same gameplay that gets incredibly redundant and boring and the bird is hands down the most annoying thing Ive ever had the misfortune of hearing The only good thing about this game are the instrumentals that play during the level select but that brings me to this hyped up jazz called Binaural Audio Apparently going crazy with Panning each track of music or noise is now a new magical kind of soundwell buddies its nothing to write home about All in all I wouldnt recommend playing this game unless youre really really bored     WHAT

Aves is a very interesting game I found it hit or miss in a lot of departments Ill start with the binaural The binaural takes into account a lot of factors that go into how our ears locate things But because everyone has different ears everyone hears differently Simple concept But since the game cant measure how you the player hears the binaural programming has to use an average hearing model Thus what works for an average ear perfectly as full 360 degree sound sounds just bizzare to others I have tested the game on two different pairs of headphones and will do more later but it only worked with one of the pairs On my Sennheiser 280HD Pros it worked beautifully The only issue I had was the back localization was rather flimsy On my Sennheiser HD 800s it didnt work at all Some small difference in the frequency response of the headphones ruined it for my ears However odds are this system is going to work wonderfully no matter what set of headphones you use I would imagine The gameplay itself is a lot of fun Once you get the hang of the controls popping the birds out of the sky is rather addictive and an hour had gone by before I noticed However the only reason I knew what I was doing or how to control the game was because I had it demonstrated to me by one of the designers of the game Theres no ingame tutorial or even anything Ive found that tells you what your controls are or even what you are supposed to be doing This should be fixed in an update I would hope because if I had blindly downloaded this game I wouldnt have had a clue and would have given up quickly The graphics in the game are spectacular I found it hard to believe it was actually an iPhone game And because of the modeling engine the bird animate sooo smoothly and really looks like its flying The only glitch I saw there was the bird has no sense of up or down so it sometimes is flying upside down Not noticable unless hes really close to the screen though Some nice humor in the game too with one bird saying Im a bird Dont kill me in one of the levels A nice touch So overall I would highly recommend the game its a lot of fun once you get used to the controls and quite addicting Headphones that work with the binaural is a must though so be ready to try another pair or two if the first set dont work 45              Very cool

The tilting around to shoot is soo annying it just not fun Also the graphics are nothing to write home about There is no lighting fx no bump mapping Its very smooth on the 3gs You want impressive graphics the get a game called Aera        Horrible control

I actualy got this app for free They were giving it away for freeIt was limited time toughBut I figured it out on pandora box it tells you all the price drops Its only hard to get around the screen because when you move your IpodIphone up the screen will go down and when you move it down it will go upBut over all it is a great game              wow

This is a bizarre game Its just plain weird You start with this image of angels which zoom in and out with this funky music in the background Hit go now youre in some fantasy world trying to shoot down a phoenix or some kind of flying creature Its hard as to follow it but once you get past the learning curve it gets very very satisfying The bird is too good to the point of being downright scary You can pin it on some levels to the wall and it flaps frantically trying to get away or something The sound is 3D i guess and you can hear it whip around your sides I didnt find it lacking in gameplay probably because I was too amazed at the bird Weird stuff                 Aves Irritates then Invigorates

I gave this game or tech demo depending on how important gameplay is to you 3 stars because of its price free As long as its free it should be given a try simply for the stunning 3D audio Dont expect much enjoyment playing it though the rather poor idea of archery is only made worse by the terrible accelerometer controls        Great idea poor execution

As a game horrible do not buy as a tech demo somewhat impressive is kind of like euphoria from natural motion but for the iphone

I bought this app knowing it was only a tech demo so my expectations werent too high It sounds REALLY nice with a good pair of noisecanceling headphones and that was about the only thing that kept me entertained Im looking forward to seeing how you guys put this technology to good use                 good to kill a few minutes

At first i was surprised by this apps huge file size but as soon as i started up the app i realized that it was well worth the download the Ghost Audio technology is unbelievable it felt as if i had a pair of 270 surround sound headphones with my 12 cheap pair of gummies D even though this app is more like a exhibition of technology rather than a pure game the game in itself is pretty entertaining it is well worth a dollar donation to a company that is producing this type of technology As far as the game goes i only have one suggestion maybe take away or atleast lower the sound of the bow when its drawn as it can be a bit distracting from the overall feel and a bit annoying if it takes you a while to get a shot out p other than that AMAZING job keep up the good work and i hope to see more amazing products from Ghost LLC in the future D                 Simply putthis is amazing

First I think this game is worth 99 The graphics and physics are good not mindblowing like some of the reviews would have you believe but the play is a little monotonous My biggest gripe is that as with a lot of tilt games there is no way to adjust the sensitivity of the tilt The result is you end up twisting the device sobfar in one direction or another that you cant see the screen Bottomline fancy audio and trippy graphics arent enough to make this enjoyable for very long so some tweaks to the gameplay would be welcomed Still a different kind of shooter that has a lot of potential           Good but not great

I love this game At first I thought Oh a hunting game Cool And it was cool for like the first 5 or 6 levels Then in this one level I had pinned the bright red and orange bird to the wall by the wing Of course it tried to get away By some twist I pinned the other wing to the wall leaving the bird to struggle for freedom with its chest outward This is kind of mean I thought but I still drew the arrow The creepy part The bird struggled harder then ever and pleaded Dont kill me Dont kill me Holy crap WTF Freaked I still drew the bow and shot it straight in the heart while it screamed bloody murder while I struggled to tear my headphones out of my ears Creepy                 Reallyweird

Every thing about this game emits quality The sound is absolutely amazing headphones make it feel as if you are actually there No instructions are provided but I found the game easy to figure out The gameplay is addicting and simple The graphics are highly polished the birds look incredible The backgrounds are nice and they dont distract at all Overall a very simplistic game with polish everywhere                 Nothing Short of Stunning

I bought Aves believing the marketing that it was a ground breaking but its really not Its on par with other games out there only The sound is nice and the movement of the birds is okay but the execution of music and story there isnt any are atrociously bad As soon as I heard the bird on level three I deleted the game It was some doof cawing in falsetto pretty bird The developers didnt even try to make it decent You can have the best sound tech in the world but it means nothing if youre forced to listen to crap Pass on this until they get their act together     Super disappointing

This is an archery shoot The bow is aimed by turning or twisting the display I see nothing challenging except the aiming is a bit difficult if not lame I killed the bird a few times but felt no thrill Do I lack the killer instinct or is the game a snoozer I give it 3 stars because its about as good as other games for the iPhone Only a few are really addictive for me like Dungeon Hunter and Doodle Jump           Game is neither lame nor great

The sound is really great graphics are ok just a bird flying around Gameplay is a bit meh quite quickly 99c is standard kept me happy for a couple of hours But my gripe is that its 200megs Wont be staying on my 8g touch much longer I hope the developer can continue to utilize his sound engine           Yeah ok
