Audio Memos - The Voice Recorder

Its really sad that this is the best memo recording app and it is way overprice I got it because of Google Drive support It worked at first but not anymore Keeps telling me to check my internet connection Well I checked it and its good I tried to makeadd a different folder in the cloud with the app to see it that would work to reestablish connection The app made a new folder on my google drive but somehow its still unable to upload And the file is 30sec        Sad

I really love this app but after the most recent update when I play my recordings I cant hear them without earbuds I used to be able to just hit play and the recording would be audible loudly from my iPhone speakers so that others can hear Bummer           Love it but update messed up sound

Has all i need in a super easy interface and works great with voiceover                 Best recorder out there

I purchased this app with the intention of emailing files of recorded info and after purchasing it found out that only a small file can be sent through email I want my money back please     NOT WORTH 999 or 99

Be prepared to lose long recordingsinprogress if you get a FaceTime call in the middle I suspect this is true with other modal notifications as well eg alarm clock This has to do with the fact that the audio only gets compressed down to a file after recording stops PS To make emailing easier record at low quality not a big deal if the sound is speech only        Dont receive callsFacetime

I have used this app for conducting interviews for work and it does a better job than any other app Ive tried Very reliable              Works Great

I have been tolerating other recorder for a semester and finally sucked it up and paid for this one Im very glad I did I have had it about a week now and already Im very pleased with the functionality of it It not only pauses but if you accidentally stop it you can open the note and add on to it You can merge separate files you can add bookmarks as you record add multiple tags for easy searchsorting later you can edit the files on your phone in the app you can change the title while you are recording and you can even convert it from wav to AAC in the app by either creating a copy in a different format or replacing the old one Yes 10 is a little pricy but I have been very pleased If you are looking for functionality then its totally worth it Thank you                 Fantastic

This would be a great app if it worked correctly but it has deleted many of my recordings right in the middle of a seminar It will freeze up stop recording delete the entire recording and close out of the program on its own leaving me stranded with no recording I have also completed an interview before got 45 minutes into an hour long interview and it stopped and deleted my recording with no one touching it That was terrible and then I had to start all over No one was very happy that day and I was embarrassed and frustrated It is not very reliable I have had to purchase other means of recording The last update was when I started having so many problems with trying to record Please fix these freezing and stopping mid recording then deleting my recording issues This is very frustrating and at this point it is not worth the money if it is not going to be a reliable program     Has Issues

This app suddenly decides to stop recording making the recording of conversation extraordinary difficult Also the voice activation does not activate with my voice even though I am the closest speaker It is completely useless Dont even bother wasting you time and especially money on this fraud     This app blows

Suggested to me by an organizational firm to help get all the junk out of my head and save it for later filing and actions Tried several others and they are no where near as good or user friendly I highly recommend                 All that

I realI enjoy using this app The recent ability to turn off the filtering helps but mainly it is straight forward and accessible with VoiceOver                 Fine recording appp

The latest update was apparently auto pushed icon changed and is stuck in installing update mode Cant get to files wifi import iTunes sync nada I purchased the pro level and am BLAZENLY UNHAPPY that youre update not only isnt working but may have caused loss of files In this day and age REALLY PLEASE FIX YOUR APP     App no longer working

It works flawlessly and is so simple keeps messages in your phone and send them to email in automatic process if you set it up that                 Wow is this land

With the latest update the app locks up when a recording is deleted from the trashcan This happens on ipad and iphone The app worked fine before and was a five star app     Trashcan lockup

User friendly Easy to use Great for preparing my work It has a lot to it and though I have had it awhile I am still learning new things                 Great program

App works well with close up recording 1 I have not tested it yet in a lecture hall 2 Emailed a test sample to my self Poor quality could hardly hear it 3 Can only send 15MB email There is no way you can send a one hour or more conference meeting or lecture to anyone For 999 you would think it had better performance I have IPad 1 with internal hardware microphone using Audio Memos v402 If there is a later version I would like to have the update           Audio Memos

I have been using this app for quite some time and it works great Currently using the latest version on my Iphone 6 Plus with the most recent operating system update installed I keep this on my home screen although I sometimes just use Siri to call it up One thing I really like is that you can quickly open the app record a memo and it will automatically name and save it using current date and time with hardly any typing If you want to catch and record quick ideas without fumbling around this works beautifully I have bought NUMEROUS voice recorder apps but this one has become my favorite go to app Id definitely recommend it                 Excellent my favorite voice memo app

Ive never seen this happen before At the end of playback The app crashes the phone This is different from just the app crashing it crashes the whole phone This was my goto app for AudioMemos I hate to find a new one but this update renders the app completely unusable     Crashes the phone

I bought this app just for recording meetings so I could analyze and transcribe them And for that purpose it works well But beware several times now while moving back and forth through a recording my left pinky has inadvertently contacted the trash can icon and unrecoverably deleted the memo I was working on I cant believe that in this day and age there is no protection against this No confirmation before deletion no undo function and no trashcan from which to recover an accidentally deleted file Just one easy inadvertent move and poof youre hosed Now I send a backup copy of every memo to my Mac before I start working on it And several times Ive been very glad I did              Mostly good app but beware

I have had no problems with this at all I dont use it an awful lot Mostly just for tidbits of thoughts and reminders of things to do I check in weekly Deleting those that are no longer of use or that I have recorded elsewhere                 Audio Memos Pro

First of all Im very impressed by the developers theyre extrememly responsive and helpful Im an investigator and use this to record interview statements and although Ive had some issues with uploading large files to Dropbox its been a gem My assistant who has to transcribe the statements has said that the quality of the recording is FANTASTIC and far and away much clearer than the Olympus digital recordings using the DSS format Plus I dont have even take my laptop out to transfer the files from my recorder Beware though the files are huge but Ive got a 64GB iPad so I dont have to worry about that                 Great product and very useful

Tried the free app could not email a 30 min recording Bought the 99 version same thing Read the hype for this one that said email hours of recording so paid 10 Same problem No response to attempted chat Wasted 11 and DISAPPOINTED AND TICKED OFF     DISAPPOINTED

I purchased this to record lectures at an important seminar I was attending After the first 2 lectures were improperly deleted by the app when I ended the recording I went with a different solution I thought I had made a mistake with the first onebut paid close attention during the second After pausing the recording then clicking donethe recording simply vanished Dont buy this app if your recordings are important to you     Uselessdeletes recordings on ending recording

As Secretary for a nonprofit arts organization one of my duties is to take board meeting minutes Ive used AudioMemos for that purpose since the application was first released The longer I use it the better it becomes The developers do a good job listening to customer concerns and helping solve issues They also have fixed many of the bugs that plagued the app in the beginning If I was to ask for one feature it would be to have the ability to view pdf documents in iBook while a recording is in progress As it stands now when a document is opened the recording is interrupted However this could be the result of my first gen iPad rather the the AudioMemos app Keep up the good work Geoff Carson Northwest Art Alliance Secretary              An important tool at board meetings

I lost my recordings of multiple hours You cant undo any of your mistakes Please fix this Please have double or triple check on things to be erased forever Even the trash please do not erase with one button touch Have the action confirmed just in case you touched by mistake like I did If you make this changes my review will change immediately Looking foreword to it     Needs work

Ive had the benefit of being able to peruse at lot of applications for my iPad online And to be honest a good percentage of them are well thought out and very useful But this application bar none has exceeded my expectations when it comes to vocal transcription of meetings conversations or just its use as a vocal stenographer I can say beyond all doubt that if you require an utility that offers the same set of useful capabilities and you do not check this one out you will be doing yourself and your efforts a great disservice                 The Best Lil App in town

This is an app that gives more than expected I especially like the adjustable input gain and the ability to append to a recording at any time The app has frozen a couple times when exiting and returning to the app while recording It is also now crashing when I click on Progresses in the Info section This is probably due to failed uploads wrong FTP server info I dont know how to clear the failed uploads since it crashes before showing any uploads in progress Heres something very cool With AudioMemos I can simultaneously record my voice and a simple keyboard part using Virtuouso Piano app Handy way to capture a song idea                 Among the best of iOS audio recording apps

Great sound quality I tell my children stories every night and record them When I am too tired to tell a story I replay stories I have recorded on this app from the past The sound is great We love this app                 Great app

this is one of my most important business applications ive dictated hundreds of memos saving me many hours of time fortunately I have great administrative help that tolerates listening to my voice nothing is worse than putting important information in an audio memo thinking that you really accomplished something and then finding that your information got lost or overwritten i use to have a lot of frustrating problems with this I continue to lose information every now and then but I just have to be very careful like looking at the screen frequently to make sure its still keeping up with me That is the only thing keeping me from giving it five stars I think its a great application overall              very useful

Ive been using this App in school for about 3 years and through the updates regular just plain solidnessrobustness of this program I can review lectures etc with ease If you need an audio record of what takes place around you a better App would be hard to find I bought all upgrades immediately use it on my i5 not S iPad 3 even my old iPod ios6 Works wonderfully on all iDevices                 Does it ALL

This app used to be one of my favorites As a student i read my class notes out loud and record them so i can listen to them while i am driving o r just doing stuff out of my house To me this app was a very useful study tool now is terrible The appication crashes CONSTANTLY and messes up my recordings     Terrible update
