I have both the iPhone and Mac app purchased downloaded and configured I m not sure what went wrong as I had multiple auctions I attempted to snipe I setup my iMac to snipe over a long weekend camping I had about 2 dozen auctions going I tried to keep an eye on my auctions while I was away via the iPhone app and found that each snipe had disappeared from the Snipe List I lost each one of those auctions after taking a very long time to setup the app I was hoping that would have successfully win at least one auction It has been two weeks now and have yet to keep either app stable enough to win an auction for me I want to like the app but it s unreliability makes it difficult My other largest concern is that I seemingly have to log into the app every day The app logs me out on both the Mac and iPhone versions of the app I am able to stay logged on permanently via my web browser just fine I m not sure why it keeps doing that Surfing auctions within the app seems much slower or bogged down to be efficient I find myself using Safari to find what I am looking for then using the auction number to search within the sniping app I ll continue to use it as I m in the market for a great deal on an iPhone for the kids I m really hoping this app will come through for me at least ONCE         Must have a lot of patience Thatboyjose

I have been using Auction Buyers Bidding Sniper for the past 6 months and it is still working great I always use it to browse eBay now The bookmarks feature is great for keeping track of all the items you are shopping for Creating snipes is super easy you just set your snipe price and it places my bit at the last 3 seconds of the auction you can customize the time you want your bid placed but I like 3 seconds It even wakes up my computer at the right time it wakes up 15 minutes ahead of time to place your bid At first I was scared that it wasnt going to work but everthing works great EVERY TIME It is much more efficient than trying to manually place bids at the last minute I even have the iPhone app setup so that I can create snipes from the iPhone app and it sends them to my desktop computer for the sniping Support was great the one time I needed it the developer responds super fast and was very helpful I am probably going to try the Buy It Now sniper too Thanks for a great ebay sniping solution for the Mac                     6 months and still working great dauclair

Greetings I m not a real frequent nor experienced buyer but this app helped me to land a camera that I was particularly interested in on eBay I had previously failed to win auctions on similar items when bidding manually even when attempting to use the same sniping techniques I noted there are web based services that snipe for you It seems silly to employ such a service when a program running locally on your computer can do it without involving a third party website While I don t really like the idea of snipping I have lost too many auctions to the practice The reality is that sniping seems to be the way of life on eBay for those who are determined to satiate their desire to win an item If your on the other end you and are unprepared you will generally loose and that can be frustrating So if you can t beat em join em I tried the app in two auctions I barely lost the first and then won the second The app submitted my one and only winning bid within five seconds of the auction end time and I was victorious A beautiful snipe It s not magic you have to set a maximum bid that you re seriously willing to pay and still hope for the best but you need not be on the edge of your seat Just let the program do its work and forget about it My paranoid side thought that providing eBay credentials to this program is a little risky What guarantee is there that the program wont collect and use the information for neffarious purpouses I posed this question to the author and he responded promptly with reasonable assurances Your password is stored in Apple s keychain Nonetheless I changed my eBay password after the auction ended I m not suggesting the author is dishonest I have no evidence to that effect and the program seems perfectly legit However a dishonest programmer would have unlimited control of your eBay account Just something to consider It would be interesting to run Little Snitch when exercising the program to see what outgoing connections are made I m not a frequent enought buyer to carry that study out anytime soon but I will when the opportunity presents itself I have not tried the automated wake up or scheduling features yet I just left my computer up and running and set to not sleep around auction end time Seemed the safest way to try the program at first So far it s proved its worth to me despite my paranoia And the price is right Overall I think it s a good program                     It worked for me DavidOrDave
