Description is very misleading Will join most file types It will not join widely used formats such as avi mp4 Seeking a refund I have contacted the company but they have not responded     Product will not join avi mp4 chrislhale
I took high resolution video on a Canon Vixia HFR400 not realizing that it was splitting the recording up into separate files every 4GB approximately every 15 minutes I was able to split the video into smaller clips as I wanted with QuickTime Player free on Macs It wasn t extremely clear how to save a single clip to a new file but you could delete the unneeded parts duplicate to a new file then same to the same format it was originally filmed in then undo to get back the other clips you wanted for a different file QuickTime Player could also combine clips but then would only save them as mov rather than mp4 and only in a lower framerate than the original recording I researched other free options for joining videos but all had mixed reviews including some complaints of the programs containing malware This program did exactly what it said it would do which was join the two mp4 files which were originally filmed on the same device with the same settings without transcoding and thus there was no change in quality and it merged the files very quickly I was also pleasantly surprised that I could not hear any audio glitching in the merged files which was a surprising bonus QuickTime Player s merged mov file had an audio glitch But the merge was not perfect there is a video glitch where the two clips were merged Not sure if there s any software that could have avoided it Overall this is not something I need to do very often so was glad there was a curated app in the App Store that could do it for 5                 worked as advertised rhaining23
The application does not work as intended and is useless The audio appears to be joined correctly together but becomes out of sync with the video after the first join The video becomes sped up and the audio stays normal By the second join the sped up video has ended and the audio keeps on playing over a frozen frame The second half of the finished product is just audio A complete waste of money     Does not work Hos Family
With the latest Yosemite version and 16 GB of RAM I have used this app several times to join 3 to 7 mov and 5 to 12 mp4 files It works much more quickly than I expected a few seconds to finish instead of several minutes actually The final joined files resulted in videos of up to an hour in total length and the playback quality is consistent with the original separate files One rule to remember the app joins the files in the order you tell it to so if you line them up 1 3 5 2 4 6 that is the sequence in the resulting full video It s easy to arrange them correctly before joining so the app is not to blame for this kind of error I tested joining 50 mp4 files into one ridiculously long video 6 hours and the app crashed It ran perfectly with all the reasonable numbers of files I threw at it One suggestion the total output duration calculates in seconds and I found 7791 731445 seconds pretty hard to get my head around I d prefer a way to convert thousands of seconds into hours minutes seconds within the app Otherwise it s an easy to use app with very good results Thanks also for the very fair price                 Very Useful App Since 2e
This program is exceptionally easy to use it s perfect for what I need it to do I usually end up with 4 to 5 clips on our iPad of the same event I open Any Video Joiner select the clips click Join Video and moments later I have one joined video to import into iTunes for viewing on our Apple TV And the customer service is outstanding I had an issue with the right perspective being preserved I submitted the issue to the developer and within a few days had full resolution I highly recommend this App                     Any Video Joiner 1 2 cwells120
