I want to start out saying that my kids love this app and I am mostly a fan It s impossible to upgrade to a full subscription though if you let the free subscription lapse I finally just signed back up for a free subscription with a regular subscription starting in 2 weeks but can t access the full library for two weeks while I wait to be billed I could not figure out any other way So we will wait I suppose but I am frustrated             Subscription Trouble ClevelandCub

As an educator with a struggling reader I was excited to try this out 1 Our children are very mature digital citizens they have grown up with technology and expect programs with vivid graphics interaction and choice This has NONE of those It is a picture background with word bubble Each character speaks their bubble in an automated voice think a speech to text type voice There are no vivid pictures you just scroll through word bubbles 2 Our children demand high quality reading materials When there are millions of books available kids can pick and choose the best I could write better stories than what Amazon has These are not main stream books you can read online or get at a library Amazon put poorly written stupid sorry I am just being honest books on this app I turned it off and canceled after 2 minutes GREAT concept AMAZIN but this needs a lot of work     Amazon s 1st Let Down Reols

This app was advertised as being for struggling readers It has you enter your child s age and then I guess assigns reading based on the age The level of the reading is way too high Of course he can this to it but I want him actually reading It needs to have an option to assign a reading level privately in the parental portal to the child         High level Mo Val Traveler

As a school librarian former reading teacher and mom of 3 I have used and reviewed a huge number of e reading apps This is hands down one of my new favorites mostly because it instantly engaged my reluctant 9 year old son and kept him happily reading for an hour the first time he touched the app It is a perfect bridge for our students today who may be looking for a way to read in the way most adults tend to these days small snippets at a time and also allows kids to constantly DO something tap for the next text I love it I am hoping to find a way to get this in the hands of my students but have to find a way to get a subscription for 260 students                     Perfect from a school librarian Olskat
