AliveChat Operator for iPad

This is a wonderful app Everything works well except there one HUGE PROBLEM with it The app only send notifications not even push just in general to let u know someone is trying to chat only when u have the app running in the foreground This app is useless unless u r gonna have ur iPad or iPhone sitting around with this app open and running in the foreground for it to let u know someone is trying to chat I mean I think this is HUGE for god sakes everything else is perfect but this I think once my trial with them is over I will nit renew because for a small business website like mine that doesnt have actual reps standing by 247 this thing is useless unless I keep the iPad on all day with this app running in the foreground PLEASE UPDATE THIS AND ULL GET 5 and Ull have me as a paying subscriber for a long time to come        Great but

I ve used the app for years All of a sudden PUSH notifications arent working for the iPad Its silly and NOT EFFICIENT for this app to only work when the app is running on screen Multitasking is the present day technology Why is there an app that takes technology back 10 years An associate of mine has called expressing the necessities that would make this app better but to no avail Use the app if you desire to be less productive Otherwise download it and write an honest review until it gets the upgrade it needs     Update quickly

This app used to be great After running an online business through this program since the first version came out and seeing the improvements and even push notifications this app was perfect Alerts and sound used to push on Mobile for both iPad and iPhone The mobile apps alone were good enough to manage multiple websites from and have a whole team of employees working completely mobile 247 But then iOS 6 And suddenly No PUSH Which is fine if you want to keep the app open and never change to another screen yeah right If you have iOS6 this app does not work on Apple iPad or iPhone which is what we all use Leaving the whole support team tied to a computer 247 After speaking with Apple who verified that it is indeed a compatability or rather INCOMPATIBILITY issue with iOS 6 on all versions of iPad or iPhone running the new OS and trying repeatedly to contact AliveChat made by Website Alive Technical Support or anyone Website Alive has not even returned an email or phone call as their web support who knows nothing about the issue promises they will indicating what if anything they are doing about this The app says it is compatible with All iOS It clearly is NOT And after speaking with Apple who alleged that all app manufacturers have had a heads up for over a year about the changes necessary to be ready for iOS 6 I have a sneaking suspicion that Website Alive is NOT going to fix this app Their refusal to acknowledge the issue or the huge effects of a business having their mobile product based support team suddenly desk bound because they are unwilling or just dont care enough to update this app for iOS 6 users which almost everyone by now is Or will be soon is unacceptable So now begins the chore of finding another Live Chat program to replace them and a long tedious process of converting the multiple websites and employees that have depended on the reliability of a company that has just dropped their entire Apple customer base on their face Unless you like to sit at your desk which if you are reading this I would assume you do not Thanks Website Alive     Not for iOS6
