AirMote

I only have a couple requests 1 that if the device goes to sleep it doese not think wifi is off when it isnt 2 that the code listingsin help are completed eg ttab is not listed 3 that a remote can have more than 12 buttons Anyway for 099 this is a great app I am awaiting some small improvments soon but overall it is a good app              Great start

This review is for AirMote version 10 Within a few minutes of downloading I was able to create a custom remote for the Plex media center based on XBMC for OS X I am happy with the result I can see many more uses for this app I look forward to experimenting with it more There is definitely some room for improvements such as 1 Even though I told AirMote to auto reconnect if my iPhone goes to sleep AirMote will tell me that it cant connect to my Mac when I wake the iPhone It says that wifi is not active when it is In that case I have to quite AirMote and relaunch it This is annoying but I am sure it will be fixed soon 2 When cycling through remote screens you can only go one way So if you have a bunch of different remotes set up you have to cycle through all of them the go back to the last remote you used This should be fixed so you can cycle through forwards or backwards 3 The option to have more than 12 buttons on a remote would be great Anyway for a 10 release this works as advertised and I am very happy I cant wait to see this app improve              Very promising

Works well has a few bugs like needing you to quit and reenter after the iPhone has slept Highly customizable Ability to write your own keystrokes and create a remote screen I now have an excellent remote for the DVD player It required the writing of 5 keys but didnt take long well worth the money Update New update makes this app AMAZING Very stable and can stay awake and connected now easily New premade DVD remote is excellent If you want an all purpose customizable remote BUY THIS APP                 Good App

If you giving a presentation you have to get your computer on line So it is not good for giving presentations where there is no internet service     Not Good for Keynote

Awesome Its already worth the money Cant wait for this to get more features I would like landscape mode option and an interface where the whole iPhones touchscreen would be the mouse pad with a single tap anywhere for a right click              Great start

Works great Setup is extremely easy on Mac Works just as advertised You can customize this app to control just about anything you want on your Mac If you are looking for a simple solution to control numerous programs on your computer with your phone this is the app for you I have tested it with Front Row Keynote Powerpoint Itunes DVD Player and moving through Dock and Menus and it works great                 Great App Fully Customizable

Good start but its really laggy with some stuff Boxee for example is really slow with this app Would much rather just use the apple remote        Good start

Works very well I have used it with FrontRow iTunes Keynote Preview and even as a remote control to shutdown my computers on my local network It has always been responsive and worked well Much more flexible than the remote that came with the laptop                 Great App

Im a savvy Mac and PC user and I could not get this program to do anything at all The Apple Store was kind enough to refund the purchase price     Does not work

This application has only one advantage as I see itit uses the VNC protocol instead of requiring additional software However it really lacks a trackpad Air Mouse Pro gives you all the same media functionality with VERY minimal setup at half the price You also get a trackpad AND it will use the accelerometer to navigate as well This isnt necessarly a bad product there are simply far superior solutions for less money     Not as good as Air Mouse Pro
