I haven t tried this with a bluetooth device but this does exactly what it says it does with an Apple TV The prerequisites being AppleTV and your phone being on the same WiFi Network There is a little delay about half a second or less while using on WiFi but I think that is inevitable My little girl has a blast singing into it with the surround sound so thats all I really care about Although it would be a nice feature if I could play her frozen music while she sings Maybe for a future update                 Works well with Apple TV Air Play Culinowski
