The app is cool But there is one thing lacking and that s the water temp info No water temp info MRKRAZY

This is one of my all time favorite and useful apps Would love to see additional recipes added and iPhone X support This app doesn t get updated nearly enough and I would gladly pay for more updates and better support Great app Needs some attention yourgrandmutha

The app sounded good with the Apple Watch capability Apple watch app will not notify you and the timer is not working properly The scaling is in scoops and shots And no option for metric system 5 wasted No proper scaling arashr

I love and have used this app for along time It works well and for those starting out with an Aeropress you can t beat it However I paid for the additional recipes roaster and championship pack quite some time ago and nothing else has been added I ve found other resources online that are much more comprehensive including better grind size detail water temperature more details such as dealing the plunger after finishing the pour for certain standard method recipes and more recipes These would all be welcome updates to this app as people keep coming up with new ways to use the brewer Right now for something that I ve paid for it seems like we re being neglected Needs updates bsa5233

I just downloaded this app to my iPhone 7 Plus with updated iOS In trying to open the app all I get is a blank screen Downloaded and installed twice Still won t work Five dollars wasted App doesn t work musicartisan

The app is designed nicely and is somewhat helpful but there is at least one recipe that is incorrect The inverted by Stumptown says to use 120 ml water for 17g coffee This is incorrect The water should be 220ml I suggest this be fixed I also suggest listing the water temperature each recipe should use since most are a little different Somewhat helpful RushRevere

I just picked up an AeroPress for the first time and I have to say that I was quite skeptical about how good it would really be I had similar questions about this app Turns out the AeroPress is a fantastic single cup coffee brewer and this app is a great companion to make sure you are using it properly Let me just say that while I LOVE the AeroPress I m still a bit of a skeptic that the different brewing techniques make that much of a discernible difference Can you taste the difference between steeping for 20 seconds and stirring versus a 60 second soak on a coarser grind Maybe maybe not but it s fun to try More importantly the app and its series of instructions and timers are sort of like a flight manual making sure that you incorporate all the necessary steps and don t do anything that will completely throw off the brewing process There s probably a few dozen recipes here and some useful instructions on traditional vs inverted method grinding techniques and water temperature As others have noted it would be nice to have even a 5 star rating system so I could remind myself or see other users opinions of how much I liked or disliked a particular method But it s a neat little app and it s a convenient tool to always have with you particularly since AeroPress is so useful on the go Kind of like a recipe book and brewing coach for your AeroPress HouseOfHomuth

This app is great for beginners I got this as soon as I got my first AeroPress It makes it so much easier to learn and the recipes are great I would love to see a rating system added though I ve made all but a few of the recipes I ve liked all of them but one or two So when I m searching for a recipe to make I can t remember the ones I didn t like Overall it s well worth the money Great but I would love an addition Dted777

This app has helped me keep a consistent brew and I experiment with the different recipes based on the grind of my coffee I really wish it had a cheat sheet light roast best water temp dark roast best water temp because that makes a difference too whether your grounds are coarse or fine So much science to it Use every morning everydayisahollyday

Overall this is the greatest companion to your Aeropress The array of recipes is great for first timers The UI was a little confusing at first so a tutorial during the first use felt necessary I use certain grinds of coffee more than others and don t often have a lot of time in which case a Favorites option would be helpful Good Better with improvements leewahh

Unpleasant surprise The update removes the recipes known as championship pack and demands 199 to get them back You now have to pay ransom to get back the recipes formerly included in the app way to break the customer relationship Aero Timer Do not get the update

I have been an aeropress user for about five years now using the inverted method the entire time Im excited to try all of the other recipes Love the option to changes its unit of measure Great for when I dont have a scale handy Just what I needed

Love the UXUI great look and feel to the app One improvement could be to add sound to the times maybe one sound for 3 seconds before the next stage and a different sound to signal the end of that stage When I am switching between pouring and stirring I cant always keep an eye on the app to see how I am doing on time so the audio would help make up for that I believe there is an error with the Norway recipe when you pull down to see the steps it says to plunge for 10 seconds but when you actually run the timer it gives you 30 seconds to plunge Great app with room to improve

The new update brings some great features like a more polished interface and 66 support However it now asks for emails the no thanks button doesnt work and the restoring purchases doesnt work I have been brewing from the Championship pack for months now and all of the sudden I have to pay again Will go back to 5 stars when the buttons get fixed I get the extra 2 I paid instead of being able to restore back New update is good and bad

This app is great for making my perfect cup of coffee but the recently added sounds are very harsh and jarring for first thing in the morning A mute setting or less sharp and chirpy sounds would make this app perfect again Almost perfect

Another update but still no custom timer option There are other apps that let you create timers for your own AeroPress recipes My AeroPress recipe isnt quite like any of the ones in this app and Im really surprised they didnt think that with all the alternative ways to make an AeroPress it might be nice to give people the option to create and save their own And as someone else mentioned you should be able to customize the units for grounds and water separately instead of limiting to certain combinations Using grams for coffee and ounces for water for example Sigh no custom timer Still

This app is great but its overdue for an update Id love to see some of the new recipes go up Even as an in app purchase Things to improve In the recipe guide the scoops dont match the grams in measurements I dont think the measurements are calculated correctly in the first place If you have weight as the measurements the following occurs in Australian championship brew the total water on the recipe says 250 ml but the three pours for the recipe adds up to 300 ml Also the champion edition should actually feature the temperatures for brewing Not everyone follows 195205 degrees Some of the best recipes in the world can go as low as 170 Love it but needs work

Update the Championship pack is once again available for free Thanks to the Devs for listening to their customers I upgraded the app to find fewer recipes including the championship recipes that I had in the previous version Yes Ive tried restoring the purchase but I think they were included for free in the last version so this is really a negativegain upgrade The app worked just fine on the 6 before the update I wish I could just downgrade And an annoyance Ive had for some time a timer app with no audio Come on Id make this a better review if there was even a beep when it was time to move on to the next step Without any audio it is just cumbersome Still no audible cues

Love this app on my iPhone and now on my Apple Watch But there a couple things that would make the Apple Watch app even better Specifically taptic and audible feedback between steps Its difficult to know when the steps transition because of the watchs six second display time Ive also noticed that the timer on the Watch can get off at times Great app Apple watch requests

The iPhone app is wonderful especially the little count down sounds that tell you when its time for the next step The Watch app will be great The interface now fits very well into watchsized screens but the fact that the app cant make sounds or give haptic feedback combined with the fact that the watch turns off in a few seconds means Ill stick to using it on the phone for now Well need to wait for native watch apps for the developer to be able to add that feedback When that happens Ill be happy to use AeroPress Timer on the Watch again iPhone app is great Watch needs watchOS 2

Varying the water temperature produces widely different results These recipes are very precise but water temperature is addressed only by saying to boil it and wait a few seconds Thats a major omission Already paid a fair amount for the app another 199 for a few more recipes is a bit ridiculous Temp and time

Seriously buy this app just to experience the tonal perfection that comes with each passing step Let the audio wash your ears with a cleanliness only achieved by the gods The coffee is good too Sounds

After finding the recipe I liked I found myself in on a screen where I can change the units of measurement only to find out there was no back button or way to get out of the screen Deleted this app within a minute of install Too bad it might have potential Bad user experience
