I just bought this because of its claim to block ads in apps as its specialty I opened pandora and 2 skips in got an ad I also tried other apps and it does not work on them either Its only a dollar so Idc much just trying to save others money     Doesnt work on pandora or at all

Can you update the vpn so that it blocks IAds too              iAds

UPDATE on 3rd of August 2015 there was a major change in the ad blocking profile If youve installed it before that date reinstall the profile to get a major speed boost This app works great It does block the majority of mobile advertising on websites and in other apps Most inportantly it does that without sending any information about the user to some third party This is the most effective and secure solution for blocking ads available out there                 Best AdBlock for iOS

iOS 9s Content Blocking hooks are pointless Apple never intended for them to block inapp ads and so they only work for the Safari browser app and all applications that play nice and embed the One True Safari as their web browser Naturally the Facebook and Twitter apps refuse to play nice right out of the gate and they use their own browser to render web pages and ads Since social media apps are the primary way that people consume web pages these days the Content Blocking hooks are completely pointless and adblockers that rely on them are a waste of everyones time This app doesnt rely on them and kicks advertisers and trackers squarely in the junk For a dollar                 This is how you do an adblocker on iOS

Ok perhaps thats a bit of an exaggeration but this little app has improved my browsing and social media experience 100 Occasionally have to disable it to install updates to some apps notably Facebook messenger But its easy to do I can now read anything from listicles to Washington Post articles without ads and pop ups covering half the screen Thank you                 Life changing

Downloaded on my iPhone 6 as I liked that this app worked on LTE I will keep a running tally of how it functions in certain apps Speed test by Ookla blocked the lower banner ad but not the app download app FAIL safari web browser did not block any FAIL Testing more apps will update here        Hmm

I love this ad blocker because it works on cellular and wifi But I have to disable it to use one of my apps The enabledisable process should be MUCH easier to do If you cant find a solution I will have to find an alternative           Me

This saves a lot of cellular data not loading ads My data usage dropped in half It works quite well blocking most of the intrusive and data hungry ads Occassionally you have to go into settingsVPNAdblocVPN and turn off connect on demand for the rare site that doesnt fully load Thats an issue with ad blockers in general not really this method Or use the Adblock app to disable but I find changing this setting to be much faster to toggle Its not a perfect solution but its the best we have in iOS8 and it does pretty well                 Saves your precious wireless data

This worked awesome with ios 712 but since upgrading to ios 81 it constantly wants to instal and reload Until designer provides an upgrade its not a feasible app for blocking ads either out of necessity or choice In the past Id give it a 5 now all I can offer is a 1     Not for ios 81

Ive been a such long time user of AdBlock on my Mac laptop that I had almost forgotten how irritating ads pop ups and banners were until they invaded my iPad This app works great at eliminating the never ending stream of ads Yes it may slow down initial loading of a site slightly but how much time does it take to find that tiny x that removes an ad thats obscurity a news story you are reading then repeating the process when the ad bounces back while you are scrolling about on that web site I feel liberated from fighting with my iOS devices and for 99 cents its a bargain I just ask the developers to keep up with advertisers and update this app as often as its needed                 Youll be so glad that you have this app

I almost didnt try this app because of all the negative reviews Im so glad I took the chance This app really works to block popup and banner ads in most apps Also they say it doesnt block web ads when using a browser but it blocked almost every ad when I was browsing with Safari Only negative so far is that YouTube videos now have a short delay before they start playing in Safari Also doesnt appear to block audio ads in pandora Its an acceptable trade off for me to block all the tracking but I hope they can fix this Love the fact that all blocking happens locally on my iPhone and nothing is sent to their servers Totally worth 1                 It really works Most ads gone

I took a chance and bought this app It blew me away immediatelythe first thing I did after downloading was to go back and access a very troubled site that I visit everyday thats full of ads everywhere This visit was very different when I gained access all the ads disappeared except for those that were printed on the page I am sold                 Ad blocker

So let me start off by saying Im a IT professional and the only time I even see a ad is on my phone I tested the blocker on several sites I know that are aggressive with ads It passed on some levels you could see it block the ad but not remove it from the page like on other pages So although the page is 100 loaded without ads there will be white spaces where its still trying to load but not on every site As for the ad free experience vs the iPhone apple ad fest 1010                 1 for freedom

Update Dec 312014 Now working fully on wifi and cellular alike mms iMessage and all Great app Update Oct 9 2014 Works fine BUT ITS BLOCKING IMESSAGE ON CELLULAR AND MMS Please update a fix Its annoying to have to turn this off when not using the apps I want ads blocked in Original Review TOTALLY WORTH THE DOLLAR I PAID FOR IT This app blocked ads within some apps that I use and the ads would always freeze my device This app works flawlessly and fixes that issue LOVE IT                 Works perfectly as intended
