Access Mobile Database Client

For all those of us who need a portable database of the ones used at work is a smooth and great tool Thanks                 Great App

This is almost useable for me Maybe Im doing something wrong but I cannot update data using a query and there is a a primary key on the underlying table Table records will update but I want to be able to sort on multiple columns to easily scroll to records or use a filtered query So would only be useful on small tables I agree with the earlier commenter please let us know if youre still working on this last upgrade a year ago Of course I would love to have forms and other logic translate too but being able to update from a simple query would make it at least useable for me I havent been able to connect to your web site either Please dont abandon the app        Almost there

A necessity when you need a portable database for your Access files BUT it needs to support queries and forms created on the PC           Good app

The app is very slow at times and the lookup of related fields are missing Should have been pointed out before my purchase Especially since it doesnt have the forms        Slow primitive

How can they take away this important feature Do developers even ask users before they decide to remove something Why cant I resize column widths     Where do I hide the tables list for more screen view

On a multiple table database only part of the tables transfer to the iPad and iPhone     Doesnt work

Displays my tables as needed I dont have any forms but this displays any line just the way I need to see it in the table or as one page Unfortunately my queries didnt work but it was easy enough to recreate the few that I use              Does what I need for a decent price

This app is garbage do not waste your money on it Looks nothing like the video or screen shots when you import your database     Garbage app

Needed to access my Access Database Been using it for about three weeks Have my main database on my Windows notebook and make all updates there Periodically I email my database to myself and load it to this application on the ipad Works fine easy to use and seamless transfer Worth the 999 Ideal as a means to retrieve your database on the ipad but not as full featured as Access for Windows I give it an A              Decent App Worth It

The implication in the various descriptions both here and on their web site are that you will be able to sync this with the Access database on your desktop I was really suspicious about the lack of detail but finally pulled the trigger when I saw discussion in the reviews about accessing your databases from Dropbox That would be fine and I can visualize how that would work so I bought it and only then discovered that the access via Dropbox is one way only You can import an Access db from Dropbox but it wont save any changes you make back to the original without going through a manual iTunes sync export sort of deal That is completely worthless I dont need a viewer I need to be able to update a field while away then walk back to my desk and have the changes reflected there     Well there was a waste of 5

Great app to allow you to browse through an Access database albeit limited in views changing column lengths and lets ya know how much stories youve readyr           Good Access App

My view may be a little more discriminating I am a 26 year veteran in database programming Ive hesitated downloading this for the pass few years because of the price But finally decided to try it not able to find something for my book collection db This program functions well but is definitely a no frills version in spite of the price I would like it to handle my menus or allow me to create and save my own Could not get it to work with Dropbox but was able to open my db from email Hopefully future upgrades will offer more           Not bad

Down loaded my Access 2010 database into this app the only thing I can open are the tables all of the queries fail to open All I get is an error window stating that it failed to open Support for this app Is zero This app needs to be remove from app store a waste of 10     This app does not work

It was my understanding you could use with Dropbox after buying app that does not seem to be the case     Ripoff

I lost two days of documentation after the app would not upload through iTunes to drop box I eventually also lost the information in the app This app still needs some work to be a dependable tool        Lost Data

This was not clear when I skimmed through the description and reviews I only wanted an app that is can create a database on my iPad and possible later transfer to a computer My Mac does not have Access and my work computer no longer has Access I would have to fire up my 10 year old plus home computer to first create a database then transfer I would want to modify and fine tune the database on the iPad until I am ready to load data into it I want my money back     Cannot create a database through app

Good so far speed improved a lot plus it doesnt seem to crash anymore              I see performance improvement

Oh My God I am flabbergasted at how easy and functional this app is 1st of all transferring my database to both iPhone and iPad were an absolute breeze Took no time at all But when I opened up the program on my ipad mini I almost cried when I realized how much easier my life would become My table has so many fields that I was always scrolling sideways to view them And I hadnt bothered creating a form because it was too much of a learning curve after having used the Microsoft Works database all these years I only switched to Access so that I could get a compatible mobile app Well when I opened this app on my tablet after transferring my database I was very pleased to see all my info neatly laid out I hadnt even read any instructions just clicked on a record almost by accident And a beautiful vertical form popped up that will be so easy to fill in as Im getting the information over the phone I am delirious with happiness Having constant access to my information from anywhere and being able to enter new information so easily is literally life changing for me Thank you Impathic                 Easier than Access on my laptop

So cant even install it No reason that this should require the latest version of iOS     Doesnt support even recent older versions of iOS

First app is nice to be able to access database for quick reference ONLY HOWEVER numbers are coming up incorrect I have a calculated column that is meant for Sales Commissions expressed in percent 2 decimal values original database would be for example 10 or 29 in the app its 100 or 29 So for my Net column in this app I have all deficit numbers because it is calculating in whole numbers rather than the percent values originally put in Second queries here does not read basic criteria such as 12013 so my queries cannot be opened This needs some improvement BIG TIME Or it isnt worth 10 to get unreliable source PLEASE FIX THIS        Unreliable source of data

This application works wonderfully It can load large databases With a masterdetail relationship established with two tables it shows you not only the master information but the detail records as well Just what I wanted it to do                 Very Nicely Done

The only drawback is that we cant create new databaseshowever that is a minor inconvenience compared to its ability to read all of my access databases It even reads the databases I started 10 years ago and it is a wonderful feeling to be able to take my information from the computer modify or add information then be able to transfer the database back to the computer without a single form tablequery or function out of place It is amazing and I have fallen in love with access all over again              Excellent

Ive been an Access user since it first came out Although this app has almost none of the full functionality of Access it does everything I need it to do when Im away from my PC yes PCwill never be a Mac convert I havent found another app yet that I would replace it with                 Works for me

This app has been a huge help Its really convenient to have portability for my databases Ive just used it for the first time since updating to iOS8 and have found that I cant switch between databasesthe area where I would normally select a different database is greyed outlooking forward to a fix           Hiccups with iOS 8

I have been using this app for years now to access my database files on my phone and it has been a life saver Unfortunately when I downloaded the newest version a couple weeks ago I started getting glitches and sometimes I have to restart the app 2 or 3 times to get it to open porperly Once open it still works great just frustrating when I have to keep restarting it I hope the company comes up with a fix for this problem              Old Version Great New Version Flawed

It is really nice to be able to read my databases on the go but not if I cant create new ones It cant even create new tables or new columns So any data you want to add can only be added as a new record based on what columns you already have           Read but not create

There will always be a need or desire for more features however having my access databases available on my tablet works for me So far no bugs no static and it does what it says it is configured to do It would be nice if the forms application could be configured for mobile devices I have had no problem uploading my databases for drop box So far smooth as a hot knife through warm butter                 Access Mobility

Errors all over unusableHow can you have a software that does not work and charge 10 That is stealing     Not working

New version comes out automatic download Tried running it with new access files nothing opens it just keeps running like it is going to open a file but it does nothing Upper left corners appears with a clock that just keep going I am wondering if the creator of this app is going to fix this     Does this New Access version still work

The fact that you cant use forms or reports is frustrating The queries do not calculate correctly on some fields The relationships do not line up on some It is fine for basic databases but gets hung up on more complex ones Still it is the best I have found for mobile MS Access use           Ok Not great

This app has a lot of promise but there have been no updates or communication in quite some time The promise of this app is that it is the only one I can find to allow me to work on the road with my data The frustration is that is is quickly becoming antiquated Using iTunes is not a great method to transfer files The inability to edit data in my queries is a frustration The lack of forms is a frustration The difficulty is resizing columns is a frustration The lack of communication is a frustration Is this app still being supported When is the next release coming out What will be in the next release     Very frustrated

Disappointed About the only thing it does well is display my data table Unable to perform some of my queries records Between 2 dates Can not display reports     Very limited Not worth the purchase

I loved the old version of the app and used it everyday With the new version and now the iOS 8 updates the drop down date field is black and very difficult to read After the apple update the screen clears and I have to save and go back and edit every case I have tried researching the problem through message boards from the company have tried contacting the developer even tried finding and older version of IOS with no luck When the app works it is a definite 5 star and must have But now it does not work reliably Please fix the bugs     Screen clears with the new updates

Very easy to download from Dropbox and work on a Database But when you are finished you cant upload it back to Dropbox for others to use I cant understand why this doesnt work the export function offers the choice to open in Dropbox but when you select that nothing happens I keep expecting an improvement but I have yet to see an update to this app Is nobody working on it anymore        Uploa to Dropbox

I chose this because we are still tied to a legacy database at work In case I ever needed to work from home for instance But it has limited views of your tables and reports and I still havent found a way to update the status of a job on here because of the way our status update table is built Limited usefulness but still workable in case you like me live in a region where deep snowfall may prevent going in to work           Very limited usage

Note to the developer Need to release an update to support IOS 6 right away Looks like the cloud Box Dropbox feature is stopped working Thanks for considering this comment as priority           Urgently need IOS 6 support to get back the cloud feature
